[PATCH 4/4 v2] com32: Fix a bug on history of commands.
Previously, even zero-length commands would be added to the history when they shoudn't, e.g: just typing enter. For example, if you type: FOO -> (ENTER) -> (ENTER), then to get FOO from the history you would have to press the UP key twice. It also saves a bit of memory. From: Matt Fleming <matt.fleming at linux.intel.com> These patches are based on the elflink branch. This set of patches is my attempt at moving the command-line interface functionality out of the core and into an ELF module to reduce the size of the core. The most interesting patch is [PATCH 4/4] which moves the cli code out of core/elflink and into com32/elflink/modules. [PATCH 4/4] is

[PATCH 1/2] com32: Fix bugs on cmd_reverse_search (Triple fault dimension)
cmd_reverse_search has a bug that the variable cursor is updated even if a command wasn't found. If this happens, and the next key falls into the default case, memmove's size parameter would be a negative number. This bug can be reproduced by doing the following: On cmd_reverse_search (ctrl-r), type multiple keys at the same time. 'Enjoy' the triple fault and a screen of random

[GIT PULL] elflink fixes
Peter, Paulo reported some problems with his config files under ISOLINUX and PXELINUX - basically TIMEOUT and TOTALTIMEOUT were broken. The patches I've pushed to the elflink branch fix this and also fix parsing of the ALLOWOPTIONS config directive. The following changes since commit d5e02fb16a11bfdbce1e90a39e6cb5f2ad925389: get_key: Valid key values are positive (2012-04-17 11:25:53

[PATCH 00/12] elflink shrinkage
From: Matt Fleming <matt.fleming at linux.intel.com> This is a series of patches that, * shrink the core by moving things into an ldlinux ELF module * begin wiring up some of the C versions of various functions The core now only contains essential code and loads the ldlinux module to do everything else, like providing a command line interface and loading kernels. The config file parsing

[GIT PULL] elflink warning fixes and auto extension support
Hi, I just pushed out changes that fix pretty much all the compiler build warnings on the elflink branch. Also, I've added "auto extension" support so that if the user doesn't type the file name extension it will automatically be looked up, e.g. now typing "ls" will execute "ls.c32". The following changes since commit

[PATCH v2] core: Check size of ldlinux.sys at building time.
From: Raphael S. Carvalho <raphael.scarv at gmail.com> v2: Extract ADV_SIZE automatically from libinstaller/setadv.h. Calc the size of ldlinux.sys from ldlinux.bin, and check if it exceeds the limit. ldlinux.sys must fit between the bootsector and two copies of ADV whose size may vary. Thus, the size of ldlinux.sys can be at most: 65536 - 2 * ADV_SIZE - 512 (limit). Certain file systems

[PATCH] chain: Fix chainloading on 6.02
From: Raphael S. Carvalho <raphael.scarv at gmail.com> My commit 09f4ac33 broke 'com32/lib/syslinux/disk.c' __lowmem doesn't work for declarations outside the core. Using __lowmem outside the core wouldn't have the desired effect, then lmalloc must be used instead to store dapa into the correct section (".lowmem"). Reported-by: Dark Raven <drdarkraven at

[PATCH 1/1] core: Check if ldlinux.sys exceeds the limit at its building time.
Calc the size of ldlinux.sys from ldlinux.bin, and check if it exceeds the limit. ldlinux.sys must fit between the bootsector and two copies of ADV whose size may vary. Thus, the size of ldlinux.sys (limit) can be at most: 65536 - 2 * ADV_SIZE - 512. Certain file systems (such as BTRFS and UFS2) will rely on ldlinux.sys being installed on the 0-64k range, thus it can't exceed the limit,
