[PATCH 00/12] elflink shrinkage
From: Matt Fleming <matt.fleming at linux.intel.com> This is a series of patches that, * shrink the core by moving things into an ldlinux ELF module * begin wiring up some of the C versions of various functions The core now only contains essential code and loads the ldlinux module to do everything else, like providing a command line interface and loading kernels. The config file parsing

[PATCH] Fix recognition of keeppxe option
PXELINUX has stopped recognizing the keeppxe option on the kernel command line. Here is a patch to make it work again. With COM32, it is no longer possible to use preprocessor directives to determine the SYSLINUX variant. The code inside the #if will never be compiled. So, I changed it to use syslinux_filesystem() to determine the variant. Also, I moved the relevant code from

[PATCH 0/1] EFI image booting capabilities
This patch adds to the core EFI image booting capabilities. It was tested on VMware EFI clients and HP Elitebook EFI notebooks, only on PXE environments but it should work on non-PXE scenarios as well. Feedback appreciated. PATH directive searches in reverse order with wrong separator
I've been trying to get syslinux.efi working in my environment again... Found what look like a bunch of little bugs that are very frustrating... First, the documentation on the Wiki says that as of 5.11, the list separator is space, not colon. But I can find no evidence that 5.11 was ever officially released or that a commit to git was made to make this change. 6.00 and following still use

[PULL 0/8] MultiFS suppport for BIOS and EFI
So last week I was wondering if XFS was still working -- even with its last on-disk structure changes -- and it _suprisingly_ worked as expected. Right, now I can finally get rid of GRUB and use Syslinux to boot my Linux on EFI from a rootfs with xfs. Shit, I have two partitions (the first one being the required ESP) so there is no way to access the other partitions since because Syslinux does not

[PATCH 00/12] Multidisk support
Hello, the following patches should get multidisk access working. The syntax accepted is the following: (hdx,y)/path/to/file where x is the disk number and start at 0 and the y is the partition number starting at 1. So (hd0,1) is the first partition of the first disk. the other accepted syntax is using MBR's 32 bits disk signature so for example: (mbr:0x12345678,2)/foo/bar would address

[GIT PULL] elflink ldlinux
Hi, These patches contain support for some features that are already in Syslinux 4 but weren't working properly on the elflink branch. It's another step closer to feature parity with Syslinux 4. Having to jump through the comboot API for localboot support is less than ideal and I'll eventually fix that, probably when we move a big chunk of code from asm to C. Also, there's a

[GIT PULL] elflink fixes
Peter, Paulo reported some problems with his config files under ISOLINUX and PXELINUX - basically TIMEOUT and TOTALTIMEOUT were broken. The patches I've pushed to the elflink branch fix this and also fix parsing of the ALLOWOPTIONS config directive.
