This is a maintenance release of Matrox DDX. Just for disclosure, the code is currently broken for Millennium, Millennium II, and G550. For those models, you may have to disable acceleration to workaround the issue. (the workaround is untested) The code is untested on Mystique and G100 due to lack of access to the hardware at this time. The code works generally okay on G200, G400, and G450. That

MATROX GPU - xorg-x11-drv-mga-1.6.3 on supermicro server
Hello Guys, our cluster runs till 2014 on supermicro board. It is not unusual that still mainboards with mga graphics cards are delivered. So I have then adjusted the mga driver from centos 6 - the specification file - , to be build on CentOS 7. Since then this runs on the headnode without failures. Maybe you should provide this via epel. The source can be found here:

3D Acceleration with Matrox MGA G200EH?
I'm running on a machine with a Matrox MGA G200EH but it doesn't appear that the 3D acceleration is being used (for example Google Earth lists the driver as being Mesa). Is there an additional driver that I need to install to enable the 3D acceleration functionality? Or something else I need to do? Thanks, Dave

[PATCH 1/3] drm: Add separate state structure for legacy, non-KMS drivers
Non-KMS drivers store state in struct drm_driver. This bloats the structure for KMS drivers and prevents it from being declared with 'static const' qualifiers. Moving the non-KMS state into a separate data structure resolves this. [PATCH 2/3] drm: Move non-kms driver state into struct drm_legacy_state
