[PATCH 1/2] nv50, nvc0: actually check constbufs for invalidation
The number of vertex buffers has nothing to do with the number of bound
constbufs.

[PATCH 3/7] nv50: submit user vbo data through the fifo
Requesting a new real buffer from the kernel and
copying all the data is wasteful e.g. if only a
few (but widely spread) vertices are accessed.

GEP with a null pointer base
Dave,
I will try to locate and take a look at the actual llvm logic that deletes based
on UB-presence, one of these days, and report back. In the mean time...
Your “For example:" is a plausibility argument only. It is not meaningful until
you can show this happening in real source code from real applications
that are compiler warning free and static analysis warning free.

OT: USB3 drive occasionally not detected
Hi Folks,
CentOS 5.5 x86_64
Asrock-Board with 2 USB3 plugs.
Normally USB3-drive is detected. But occasionaly after "umount" next time this
drive or other ones will not be detected.
I have to boot the PC - than it works - till next unrecognition.
On USB2 plugs all works correct.
No messages in /var/log/messages nor dmesg.
What happens here?
Board failure - or other reasons?

rsync error code 12 on Mac OS X 10.4.4
I am attempting to use the rsync built "into" Mac OS X 10.4.4. That
is, this version:
rsync version 2.6.3 protocol version 28
Copyright (C) 1996-2004 by Andrew Tridgell and others
When I run rsync, after tabulating all of the files that need to be
copied, I get this error:
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at
/SourceCache/rsync/rsync-20/rsync/io.c(359)

[RFC PATCH] nouveau: add locking
---
This is still a WIP. Just wanted to get people's opinions. It's also not bullet-proof. Unfortunately nouveau_bo_wait [which is in turn called by nouveau_bo_map] can trigger a kick, so technically we have to have a lock around any nouveau_bo_map.
My strategy here was to add locks around all the user-accessible APIs while leaving all the internal stuff unlocked. When waiting for a

R CMD INSTALL and file permission settings
Summary:
The directory /usr/local/lib/R/site-library can be used for site-wide
multi-user installations of R.
This is even the default on Debian and Ubuntu (following a suggestion by
Kurt and Fritz a decade ago over beers -- what could be better). However,
R enforces wrong permissions on directories and files there (removing
group-write) which effectively defeats this purpose,

[PATCH 00/12] Tessellation support for nvc0
This is enough to enable tessellation support on nvc0. It seems to
work a lot better on my GF108 than GK208. I suspect that there's some
sort of scheduling shenanigans that need to be adjusted for
kepler+. Or perhaps some shader header things.
Even with the GF108, I still get occasional blue triangles in Heaven,
but I get a *ton* of them on the GK208 -- seemingly the same issue,
but it's
