[PATCH] drm/nouveau/i2c: pass the function pointers in at creation time
i2c_bit_add_bus can call the pre_xfer function, which expects the func pointer to be set. Pass in func to the port creation logic so that it is set before i2c_bit_add_bus. [RFC] nouveau: Add basic i2c sensor chip support
This adds basic support for driving sensor chips off the nvidia i2c buses, along with basic support for reading the internal GPU sensor on supported chipsets. It's heavily cribbed off nvclock. Having scanned a large number of bioses, I'm pretty convinced that the appropriate i2c bus is always number 2 in the list on <g80 - I'm not sure about later cards yet. There's still a lot

[PATCH] drm/nvc0-: Fix voltage obtained from vbios.
Coefficients are based on the formula: uV = 0.1 * arg[0] + 150.5 * arg[1] + 22.65025 * arg[2] It seems to be rounded downwards. I have no idea why the voltage isn't specified in the bios directly. [PATCH] drm/nv31-nv43/mpeg: inst not available on pre-nv44
The inst variable (and thus engctx) will not be properly populated for pre-NV44 cards. The dma setter method didn't need it anyways, so call it directly instead of the nv_call indirection. Signed-off-by: Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu> --- Tested on NV42. Ben, I'm going to guess that you hate this patch, since it gets rid of the beautiful nv_call stuff. However I wasn't

[PATCH v2] nouveau: Load firmware for BSP/VP engines on NV84-NV96, NVA0
These chipsets include the VP2 engine which is composed of a bitstream processor (BSP) that decodes H.264 and a video processor (VP) which can do iDCT/mo-comp/etc for MPEG1/2, H.264, and VC-1. Both of these are driven by separate xtensa chips embedded in the hardware. This patch provides the mechanism to load the kernel for the xtensa chips and provide the necessary interactions to do the rest of

[PATCH] pmu/gk20a: PMU boot support.
Hi Deepak, There's... a lot of stuff going on here. Can you describe the goal of this patch (which could then be used as the patch commit message)? The current one basically boils down to "Add support for loading PMU", but merely loading the fw into a fuc engine is just a handful lines of code. Also, except in rare cases, it's customary to split up patches of this size into

9800m GT
Hi Everyone! I've been trying to get my Nvidia 9800m GT working with the latest nouveau drivers with no luck so far. First of all I'd like to mention that this is a weird card as it is an SLI in one piece of hardware (not 2 separated cards). It came with my Dell XPS M1730 laptop. I know SLI is not currently supported and _I don't want_ to use SLI, I just would like to use one of

[PATCH] pmu/gk20a: PMU boot support.
Hi Mirkin, Your observations are quiet correct. After the boot code is submitted successfully, I will submit the code to configure & enable features of PMU.(This will be done by sending cmds to PMU). Now talking about this patch: Apart from just the boot code, I have also included some things in this patch that I can remove for now(I will include these things in later digestible chunks): -
