From what they said, they never really cared about nvidia because
nvidia provides a binary driver that works, unlike intel

FreeBSD10-Beta3: No xorg-server-1.12.4
Hi:
The FreeBSD10-Beta3 kernel is recompiled successfully with the
following in /etc/make.conf
WITH_NEW_XORG=yes
WITH_KMS=yes
WITH_GALLIUM=yes
But after installworld, there is no sight of new xorg-server-1.12.4 in
pkg cache nor in /usr/ports:
How to install new xorg and where is the source?
# pkg search xorg
linux-f10-xorg-libs-7.4_1
xorg-7.7
xorg-apps-7.7
xorg-cf-files-1.0.5_1

Nouveau for FreeBSD
Wasn't there some work being done by François Tigeot or Jean-Sébastien Pédron
to port Nouveau to DragonFlyBSD/FreeBSD? Or at least they were talking about porting it
at XDC 2014, no idea what the current status is.
Pierre
PS: Looking at François' slides from this year XDC, it seems there isn't much
progress about it.

Logo Nouveau
Dear community members,
Im a graphic designer and for the last couple of months I have been working on a new logo for the Nouveau project. After sending preliminary designs to both Martin Peres and Ilia Mirkin, we have decided to share the logo in order to gather your feedback.
I would like to highlight that the logo incorporates a penguin corresponding to the linux kernel components used to

Traffic Accounting
Hi,
I'm trying to find out how to do traffic accounting with Dovecot 2.x,
preferrably v2.0.9, preferrably on CentOS 6.
I've previously asked on IRC, but there was little feedback, and my
understanding is now this list is the preferred media for such
inquiries. If I recall correctly, some weeks ago I was told that traffic
accounting is not officially supported on Dovecot 2, but that there

send existing root email to another user
Hi all,
I'm running Centos 5.4
I have a pile of emails in my root users /var/spool/mail/root file
I need to send this all to another address (preferrably external but
local would possibly do)
I have searched a lot but can't find any way to do this. I have set it
so future emails get forwarded to my external address but I also need to
shift the existing emails.
Thanks

Using a subversion repository to spec in a rails app
Is it a bad practice to use a subversion repository to the trunk of
rspec and rspec_on_rails? Or rather, is it doomed to fail, since my
gem will always be out of date?
I know I can''t use spec, installed from gem,s if I have the latest
revision of rspec and rspec_on_rails checked into my plugins
directory. But I should still be able to use it with the --drb
option, correct?

Re: Re: XAPI on debian - sr-create issue
You''re right scout the last line. Out looks like xapi is waiting on tapdisk to plug a key into xenstore. Perhaps a udev rule problem? Perhaps someone who knows more about tapdisk than I well be able to diagnose this tomorrow.

setting up a dedicated NIC for replication
Hi all,
I evaluate Glusterfs for storing virtual machines (KVM).
I am looking for how configuring a dedicated network (vlan) for Gluster's replication.
Because the configuration is based on only one DNS name, I don't know how to configure Gluster's nodes in order to:
- Use production network, for hypervisors communications
- Use replicated/heartbeat

[LLVMdev] LatticeMico32 (LM32) backend
Hi,
Would anyone be interested in developing a LatticeMico32 backend in LLVM?
LatticeMico32 [1] is an open source microprocessor core designed by Lattice
Semiconductor and typically used in FPGAs. It is comparable to the Microblaze
processor that you already support.
It is already supported by GNU Binutils and GCC (4.5+). It is used by the
Milkymist [2] and RTEMS [3] projects. The Milkymist

Strange issue with share access on domain controllers
Hi list,
I've a strange issue with Windows 7 (also occurs on 8.1) when accessing
shares on domain controllers. If I use IP address or in-domain FQDN
(server.domain.name), all is right. If I use another DNS entry pointing
to the same IP, share access fails with following message (translated
from french) :
\\somehost.somsuffix\someshare is not accessible. […] Invalid parameter
