[PATCH 0/3] nvc0: ARB_(multi_)draw_indirect support
The main patches are from Christoph. Unfortunately they're a little beyond my understanding of all the vertex-related details, but they generally seemed fine. I'm just going to push these unless someone steps up to review them. Christoph Bumiller (2): nvc0: add support for indirect drawing nvc0: fix translate path for PRIM_RESTART_WITH_DRAW_ARRAYS Ilia Mirkin (1): nouveau: check if

[PATCH] nv50: fix setting of texture ms info to be per-stage
Different textures may be bound to each slot for each stage. So we need to be able to upload ms parameters for each one without stages overwriting each other. [Mesa-dev] Crash with Mesa-10.4.4 and NV68
Hi Arno, I think at this point the most helpful thing would be to get an apitrace (https://github.com/apitrace/apitrace) with your "fix" in place. Once you make the trace, change your fix to instead abort the program, and replay the trace. This will allow us to look at the precise call sequence that causes the issue. What is the numerical value of ve->vertex_buffer_index when

[PATCH 00/19] nv50: add sampler2DMS/GP support to get OpenGL 3.2
OK, so there's a bunch of stuff in here. The geometry stuff is based on the work started by Bryan Cain and Christoph Bumiller. Patches 01-12: Add support for geometry shaders and fix related issues Patches 13-14: Make it possible for fb clears to operate on texture attachments with an explicit layer set (as is allowed in gl 3.2). Patches 15-17: Make ARB_texture_multisample work

[PATCH v3 0/2] nouveau: support for custom VRAM domains
New revision of this patchset that prevents VRAM objects from being allocated on VRAM-less systems like Tegra. This is required for Mesa to work on such systems. Changes since v2: - Use vram_size to detect systems without VRAM and set the correct domain instead of expecting each chip to set its domain explicitly. [PATCH] nouveau: add valid range tracking to nouveau_buffer
This logic is borrowed from the radeon code. The transfer logic will only get called for PIPE_BUFFER resources, so it shouldn't be necessary to worry about them becoming render targets. Signed-off-by: Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu> --- A user reported a ~30% FPS improvement with an earlier version of this patch in TF2, and no visual regressions in CS, all on a nv50 card. [PATCH v2 0/3] nouveau: support for custom VRAM domains
This series is to allow NVIDIA chips with shared memory to operate more efficiently (and to operate at all once we disable VRAM from the kernel driver) by allowing nouveau_screen to specify a domain to use for objects originally allocated into VRAM. If the domain is not overridden, the default NOUVEAU_BO_VRAM is used. A NV_VRAM_DOMAIN() macro is then introduced to be used in place of

[PATCH 09/23] nv50-: separate vertex formats from surface format descriptions
Why not fix the new names instead to be like the old names? Seems like that would be way simpler... [PATCH 1/2] nv30/draw: rework some of the output vertex buffer logic
This makes the vertex buffer go to GART, not VRAM, and redoes the mapping to not use the UNSYNCHRONIZED access (which is meaningless on a VRAM buffer anyways). While we're at it, add some flushes for VBO data. Moving the vertex buffer from VRAM to GART makes glxgears work fully with NV30_SWTNL=1. The other changes just seem like a good idea. I'm not sure *why* moving the buffer from VRAM

[PATCH 00/12] Tessellation support for nvc0
This is enough to enable tessellation support on nvc0. It seems to work a lot better on my GF108 than GK208. I suspect that there's some sort of scheduling shenanigans that need to be adjusted for kepler+. Or perhaps some shader header things. Even with the GF108, I still get occasional blue triangles in Heaven, but I get a *ton* of them on the GK208 -- seemingly the same issue, but it's

[PATCH try 2 2/2] gallium/nouveau: move pushbuf and fences to context

nv vpe video decoder
Hello, I have my work on the nv vpe video decoder in a functional state. In case you didn't know this decoder accelerates mpeg2 video at the idct/mc level. I have verified that it works on nv40 hardware. I believe it works on nv30 hardware (and maybe some earlier hardware), but I cannot verify since I have none. I will reply with patches against the kernel, drm, ddx and mesa for

[PATCH 00/12] Cherry-pick nv50/nvc0 patches from gallium-nine
I went through the gallium-nine tree and picked out nouveau patches that are general bug-fixes. The first bunch I'd like to also get into 10.2. I've reviewed all of them and they make sense to me, but sending them out for public review as well in case there are any objections. Unless I hear objections, I'd like to push this by Friday.
