forms, javascript and ajax - hopefully an easy question
Right now I have a simple form hooked up. Now that the form is smooth and functional, I want to add a feature that I''m not sure how to implement. After a user modifies a form, I''d like to have a visual cue appear somewhere to show that the form has been changed and needs to be saved. It could be a red div at the top of the screen - anything - it is doesn''t matter. Just

Solaris dom0 xen-unstable.hg source for developers
I''m happy to announce that we have moved the xen-unstable.hg Solaris dom0 development out to the OpenSolaris community. For hard core developers, you can download, build, and run Solaris dom0 and xen-unstable bits following the instructions at the end of this post. We are currently sync''d up to changeset #17644 (~May 15th). Hopefully we will sync up with xen-unstable.hg every

Migrate rules from iptables to shorewall - SNAT
Hi all, I''m using Shorewall since one year (1.4, then 2.0) I''m trying to migrate a linux firewall from iptables rules to shorewall. The firewall has three zones - net internet - loc1 lan - loc2 second lan I have a lot of rules like this, to SNAT the ip addresses of some computers on loc1 (192.168.16.0/24) when they connect to loc2 (10.0.0.0/8) iptables -v -t nat -I

Samba + ldap pdc and SUS
Hi all, I'm here again ith a non-strictly samba related problem, but I hope someone in the list has already faced and perhaps solved it... I've got a 60 clients network (most Windows 200 and XP) organized in a domain. The pdc and bdc run on Fedora 2 + samba 3.0.7-2.FC2 + openldap-2.1.29-1, and everything works fine. To limit the use of internet bandwidth I installed a Windows 2003

Run-time error
Hi. I'm trying to get a Windows application working on Wine 0.9.29 on Ubuntu 6.10. I saved all .dll files and the registry variables the program asked for, but now the program shows me a "Run-time error '3633'", without showing any error on the console. How I can debug this error to understand which file or another thing is missing? Could you help me, please? Thank

VDPAU DEINTERLACE
Mesa only supports the non-spatial temporal deinterlace (deint=3). I'm guessing that due to some unfortunate issues, you're no longer getting hw accelerated video decoding. Check in vdpauinfo to make sure that it's indeed showing the relevant codec as supported. If not, you can turn that back on by updating to mesa 11.2.2, or downgrading your kernel to 4.2 or earlier.
