nouveau xorg driver - compile error
Hi Pali, If the future can you include the error message (plus a couple of lines of context) in the email ? Thanks. Seems like the list* symbols got prefixed with xorg_ during the 1.12 development cycle (commit ca64912c02b), and your build uses 1.11.x. I'm using xorg-server 1.15 so cannot really test this but the attached patch should help. Can you give it a try ? Cheers, Emil On 01/07/14

Thunderbird bug, anyone else have seen it?
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=541130 The bug I see is using thunderbird 24.6 which is the latest update on centos 6.5. The issue is that every time I open an email with some "+" somewhere in the source (which I didn't traced yet) I get annoying message: An error occurred while loading or saving configuration information for thunderbird. Some of your configuration

Xen 4.3 on Ubuntu 13.10?
I''m eager to test Xen 4.3 with Ubuntu 13.10 (saucy). I tried compiling Xen from source, but unfortunately, I didn''t have much luck. Will Xen 4.3 be available in the Ubuntu 13.10 repository any time soon? If not, is it available from any ppa as a .deb? yuy2 not working in ubuntu 13.10
For many years im using the ubuntu with nouveau and the yuy2 scalemode in mame. I think the last one was 11.10 or 12.04, not sure. Now in the ubuntu 13.10 the yuy2 scalemode dont work in mame, but works fine with the intel driver. Tested with the kernels 3.11 and 3.12 from the ubuntu repository. I think there's a regression in the nouveau used in ubuntu 13.10 with yuy2. -------------- next

Broken libguestfs package in Ubuntu 13.10
Hello all, In ubuntu 13.10 libguestfs version 1:1.22.4-1 seems broken. I don't seem to be able to create a working appliance. After installing libguestfs-tools and executing "sudo libguestfs-test-tool" I get: Failed to connect to virtio-serial channel. This is a fatal error and the appliance will now exit. Usually this error is caused by either QEMU or the appliance kernel not

It's a mystery why it doesn't work. qemu simply exits (with success), with no indication at all why. There seems to be nothing at that point in the kernel which could cause an exit/reboot either. You're not running out of

Re: Errors Running on Ubuntu 13.10
Not that I know of, resource usage seems totally normal. Also, as I mentioned, virt-install and virt-manager can both access and run vm's on qmeu without any trouble. Ulimit is also unset. You can try a different qemu from upstream, which should diagnose whether this is a kernel problem or a qemu problem:
