samba 3.0.2a (ported from 2.2.8a) with LDAP failed to add machine account
Hi all!
Domain is up and running. I can add users and they can change passwords.
Problem occurred when I tried to add machine account.
add machine script works fine (unix user created) but samba can not
modify entry. LDAP permissions are proper.
If you have any idea welcomed.
Thank you

Website for Ogg/Vorbis support for MPEG4IP
Hi
I have created a small website trying to document my Ogg/Vorbis support for MPEG4IP.
You can find it here.

Half-Life, wine & GeForce2 GO
Hi everybody,
I tried today to install and play Half Life under wine on a toshiba satellite
3000-400 with an nvidia geforce2 go graphic card and an integrated sound card
(i810).
I downloaded both wine and winex from the CVS repositories, and compiled them
with opengl support without any problem.
I tried to install half life. winex hung when testing the wave sound
output, and wine worked

CH7007A (AKA CH7006) TV OUT Support for NV11 (NVidia GeForce2 Go Dell I8K Laptop)
I believe that ch7006 is the only external encoder that's supposed to
work, so you're in luck. It sounds like it passes the nv04_tv_identify
stage of nv04_tv_create -- perhaps it fails later? Although based on
the prints, it's even doing dpms stuff (but it hits _detect a second
time... odd). Try booting with
nouveau.debug=debug drm.debug=0xe
That should provide a bunch more output as

[LLVMdev] addPassesToEmitFile
When you say 'static libraries' do you mean static libraries or shared
objects (.so)... Because if you mean shared objects, then it could
very well explain you crash.

Stroring and extracting AICs from an ARIMA model using a nested loop
I am nowaware that I should not post this type of questions on this group. However, Iwould like to have some clarifications related to the response you've?alreadyprovided. The code you provided yields accurate results, however I still haveissues grasping the loop process in case 1 & 2.
In case1,?the use of?"p+1" and "q+1" is still blurry tome? Likewise "0L"

Stroring and extracting AICs from an ARIMA model using a nested loop
Hello
I am trying to extract AICs from an ARIMA estimation with different
combinations of p & q ( p =0,1,2,3
and q=0,1.2,3). I have tried using the following code unsucessfully. Can
anyone help?
code:
storage1 <- numeric(16)
for (p in 0:3){
? ? for (q in 0:3){
?
? ? storage1[p]? <- arima(x,order=c(p,0,q), method="ML")}
}

[LLVMdev] addPassesToEmitFile
Well, I've been before hours trying this, but soon after I sent the
email I found something. However is quite intriguing.
I just changed the order of and the static libraries that I was linking.
How can this be possible??
I'm using Cmake for building my llvm projects, so I choose the order
and I pick the .a libraries I want to link by hand...
Thank you,

Glusterd not working with systemd in redhat 7
Thanks Niels,
We want to install it on redhat 7. We work on a secured environment with no internet access.
We download the packages here https://buildlogs.centos.org/centos/7/storage/x86_64/gluster-3.10/ and then, we push the package to the server and install them via rpm command .
Do you think this is a correct way to upgrade gluster when working without internet access?
Thanks in advance

Hello,
I'd like to test if 3.10.6 version fixes the problem . I'm wondering which is the correct way to upgrade from 3.10.5 to 3.10.6.
It's hard to find upgrade guides for a minor release. Can you help me please ?
Thanks in advance
