[PATCH] drm: merge nouveau_platform.ko into nouveau.ko
Having the two modules separated causes various unneeded complications, including having to export symbols accessed between the modules. Make things simpler by compiling platform device support into nouveau.ko. Platform device support remains optional and is only compiled on Tegra. Signed-off-by: Alexandre Courbot <acourbot at nvidia.com> --- Vince, with this you won't have to export

[PATCH v3 1/2] nouveau/bl: Assign different names to interfaces
From: Pierre Moreau <pierre.morrow at free.fr> Currently, every backlight interface created by Nouveau uses the same name, nv_backlight. This leads to a sysfs warning as it tries to create an already existing folder. This patch adds a incremented number to the name, but keeps the initial name as nv_backlight, to avoid possibly breaking userspace; the second interface will be named

[PATCH 0/5] drm/nouveau: platform devices and GK20A probing
This patch series is the final (?) step towards the initial support of GK20A, allowing it to be probed and used (currently at a very slow speed, and for offscreen rendering only) on the Jetson TK1 and Venice 2 boards. The main piece if the first patch which adds platform devices probing support to Nouveau. There are probably lots of things that need to be discussed about it, e.g.: * The way the

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: create module debugfs root
Typically DRM drivers use the DRM debugfs root entry. However, since Nouveau is heading towards a split into a core and a DRM driver, create a module specific debugfs root directory. Subsequent patches make use of this new debugfs root in order to store GSP-RM log bufferes (optionally beyond a device driver binding). [PATCH] drm: Display Nouveau boot options at launch
It can help to remove any ambiguity about which options were passed to Nouveau, especially in case the user had some options set in /etc/modprobe.d/*.conf that he forgot about, as they won't appear in a dmesg. 4.9-rc7 nouveau fails on arm64 64k page kernel but works with 4k
That's right -- nouveau currently requires 4k page sizes to work. This is a software limitation, not a hardware one though. [PATCH 1/2] drm/nouveau: make hdmi device finding failure prints debug level
The hdmi device is required for runtime pm. However it is not available on many esp older devices, which were all seeing these error messages. Take this opportunity to also convert to nv_debug instead of the DRM_* messages, like the rest of nouveau does. [PATCH 0/3] drm/nouveau: Fixup module probe to add ->shutdown()
This series is intended to add support for shutting down the GPU on kernel shutdown/reboot using the ->shutdown() hook, similar to what amdgpu does. This is mainly intended to workaround a bios issue on the P50 that was preventing nouveau from initializing the dedicated GM107 GPU on that system properly. You can find more details on this issue in the patch labeled "Shut down GPU on kernel

[PATCH 2/2] [v9] drm/nouveau: expose GSP-RM logging buffers via debugfs
The LOGINIT, LOGINTR, LOGRM, and LOGPMU buffers are circular buffers that have printf-like logs from GSP-RM and PMU encoded in them. LOGINIT, LOGINTR, and LOGRM are allocated by Nouveau and their DMA addresses are passed to GSP-RM during initialization. The buffers are required for GSP-RM to initialize properly. LOGPMU is also allocated by Nouveau, but its contents are updated when Nouveau

[PATCH v2] Revert "drm/nouveau/device/pci: set as non-CPU-coherent on ARM64"
From: Robin Murphy <robin.murphy at arm.com> This reverts commit 1733a2ad36741b1812cf8b3f3037c28d0af53f50. There is apparently something amiss with the way the TTM code handles DMA buffers, which the above commit was attempting to work around for arm64 systems with non-coherent PCI. Unfortunately, this completely breaks systems *with* coherent PCI (which appear to be the majority).
