[Bug 75279] XCloseDisplay() takes one minute around nouveau_dri.so, freezing Firefox startup
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75279
--- Comment #29 from Frederic Bezies <fredbezies at gmail.com> ---
Looks like a NouVeau is triggered by Mozilla Firefox trunk code.
I opened a bug on mozilla bugtracker,
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=978439
Even if I find a "dirty workaround", valgrind logs are showing a NouVeau driver
bug.
I will attach both

Memory corruption on Gallium window resize, diagnosed?
Hi,
I've been playing with nouveau/mesa branch gallium-0.1, trying to get
trivial/tri working on nv20 (with nv10 code). When ever I resize the window,
it ends up in an assert failure:

[ANNOUNCE] xorg-server 1.9.99.901
Ok, I think we've done enough damage for one release. Thanks everyone
for pulling a long weekend to get changes prepared and reviewed.
We're still missing the threaded input stuff, but that needs more review
and I think we wore Tiago out this time around. If someone wants to
propose merging it after the freeze, I think we should consider doing
it.
Note that this tarball depends on

pv_ops kernel and nvidia binary driver
Just wondering what it will take to get the nvidia binary driver
working on a pv_ops kernel.
It makes it difficult to debug without the source to the nvidia
driver, but I think it should be possible to get it to work without
changing the binary driver. If the dom0 kernel had access to all the
resources that a bare metal kernel did, then it should work right?

[ANNOUNCE] xorg-server 1.4.99.901
Aaron Plattner (11):
Bug #12015: Use the right offsets in the dst arguments of pixman_blt.
stride is in FbBits-sized chunks, but xoff is not.
Bump video driver ABI for pci-rework.
Set noCompositeExtension to TRUE when failing to initialize the extension (e.g. when Xinerama is enabled).
Don't segfault on shutdown if we never managed to connect to dbus.
