[mesa v2 5/9] nouveau: fix screen creation failure paths
From: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs at redhat.com>
The winsys layer would attempt to cleanup the nouveau_device if screen
init failed, however, in most paths the pipe driver would have already
destroyed it, resulting in accesses to freed memory etc.
This commit fixes the problem by allowing the winsys to detect whether
the pipe driver's destroy function needs to be called or not.

That would be lovely, but not possible. It has to be cleaned up by the
pipe screen destroy() function, as that's the normal exit path. If the
pipe driver creation path fails before

[PATCH try 2 2/2] gallium/nouveau: move pushbuf and fences to context
nv30 seems to not support dma objects with offset, so simply extend the query_heap to cover the
entire notifier, and use a offset in nv30_context_kick_notify.

[mesa v2 5/9] nouveau: fix screen creation failure paths
This all seems very roundabout... Can't we do this in a somewhat
consistent way with the device being cleaned up in one place or
another but not both?

It would be great if you could detail the list of transformations that
were done in the commit description, as well as what the

[PATCH] nv50: remove vtxbuf stateobject after a referenced vtxbuf is mapped
- This avoids problematic "reloc'ed while mapped" messages and
some associated corruption as well.
- Also add one nouveau_bo_unmap() in the vbo code that wasn't present.

[PATCH] nv50: enable texture compression
As I mentioned on IRC, I think that some color formats are
compressible. Would be nice to figure out which... e.g. trace the
blob, or just try stuff.

[PATCH] nv50: enable txg where supported
Signed-off-by: Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu>
---
This applies on top of Dave Airlie's r600g-texture-gather branch. Ran piglit
with -t gather, passed all 1057 tests. Can't say I fully understand what all
the arguments to handleTEX in the Coverter are but... seems to work. Will
probably require some care for nvc0 support which should have SM5 caps.

[PATCH v2] nv50: H.264/MPEG2 decoding support via VP2, available on NV84-NV96, NVA0
Adds H.264 and MPEG2 codec support via VP2, using firmware from the
blob. Acceleration is supported at the bitstream level for H.264 and
IDCT level for MPEG2.
Known issues:
- H.264 interlaced doesn't render properly
- H.264 shows very occasional artifacts on a small fraction of videos
- MPEG2 + VDPAU shows frequent but small artifacts, which aren't there
when using XvMC on the same

[RFC PATCH 0/8] nv50: expose global performance counters
Hello there,
This series exposes NVIDIA's global performance counters for Tesla through the
Gallium's HUD and the GL_AMD_performance_monitor extension.
This adds support for 24 hardware events which have been reverse engineered
with PerfKit (Windows) and CUPTI (Linux). These hardware events will allow
developers to profile OpenGL applications.
To reduce latency and to improve accuracy,
