[PATCH v2 16/22] volt: don't require perfect fit
if we calculate the voltage in the table right, we get all kinds of values, which never fit the hardware steps, so we use the closest higher value the hardware can do Signed-off-by: Karol Herbst <nouveau at karolherbst.de> --- drm/nouveau/nvkm/subdev/volt/base.c | 25 ++++++++++++++++++++++--- 1 file changed, 22 insertions(+), 3 deletions(-) diff --git

[PATCH] drm/nv31-nv43/mpeg: inst not available on pre-nv44
The inst variable (and thus engctx) will not be properly populated for pre-NV44 cards. The dma setter method didn't need it anyways, so call it directly instead of the nv_call indirection. Signed-off-by: Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu> --- Tested on NV42. Ben, I'm going to guess that you hate this patch, since it gets rid of the beautiful nv_call stuff. However I wasn't

[PATCH] Fix i2c table parsing for dcb 4.1
Code before looked only at bit 31 to decide if a port is unused. However dcb 4.1 spec says 0x1F in bits 31-27 and 26-22 means unused. Trouble with R and cronjobs
I am having problems with trying to run R from a crontab job. I have a c-shell file that calls the R script. I get an error concerning the X11 display (see below). I have included the c-shell file and the output from the crontab job. It appears that my DISPLAY environmental variable is not set. Is that necessary, even when the output of the plot command is to a png file? Can someone tell me how to

[PATCH v2] nouveau: Load firmware for BSP/VP engines on NV84-NV96, NVA0
These chipsets include the VP2 engine which is composed of a bitstream processor (BSP) that decodes H.264 and a video processor (VP) which can do iDCT/mo-comp/etc for MPEG1/2, H.264, and VC-1. Both of these are driven by separate xtensa chips embedded in the hardware. This patch provides the mechanism to load the kernel for the xtensa chips and provide the necessary interactions to do the rest of

[PATCH v4 36/37] WIP volt/gk104: readout speedo
this gk104 volt implementation has to be reworked a little, because the speedo readout in maxwell doesn't need those strange 0 and 41 writes into 0x122634, but it needs this PWM thing. Maybe Maxwell is PWM only and we could just simplify it there, but without proper knowledge there has some refactoring to be made. Signed-off-by: Karol Herbst <nouveau at karolherbst.de> ---

[RESEND V2 PATCH 1/3] soc/tegra: fuse: export tegra_sku_info for module use
