Problems when using latest git tree to boot xen on OMAP5
Hi Julien,
Since Ian has merged most my OMAP5 patches, I decide to try to update my working tree to it today. However, it seems it doesn't work as expected. There mainly two kind of problems that I met:
1. It seems that xen no longer maps some of io memory regions described in dts. For example, the memory regions in "ocp" node of omap5.dtsi.
2. commit c88d32f4 seems to be conflict

Lots of IB_EMPTY errors on G98 (GeForce 8400 GS) on SPARC
I'm running on Sun Blade 2500 with a GeForce 8400 GS PCI. After (maybe?)
fixing a few errrors with bo allocation, I'm getting a lot of IB_EMPTY
errors, ultimately resulting in a GPU lockup. I don't have any sort of
framebuffer visible.
After reading dma-pusher.txt, I see "An attempt to submit IB entry with
length zero will raise DMA_PUSHER error of type IB_EMPTY." How would

[PATCH] D74662: libclc: cmake configure should depend on file lists
Hi Chandler, Manuel,
what's the right way to request/setup something like this? (automatic
subscription of the libclc ML to all patches modifying files in llvm/libclc)
thank you,
Jan Vesely

Preserving debug metadata across optimization
Hi,
I've recently run into a problem of missing !dbg metadata after the
code has been optimized (even opt -O1).
The original code was generated using llvmlite python package and I've
verified that all instructions have their !dbg metadata present.
After optimizing the module (even opt -O1) I see that some
instructions (~25%) don't have any dbg metadata.
These are mostly getelementptr

RFC: atomic operations on SI+
Hi Tom, Matt,
I'm working on a project that needs few coherent atomic operations (HSA
mode: load, store, compare-and-swap) for std::atomic_uint in HCC.
the attached patch implements atomic compare and swap for SI+
(untested). I tried to stay within what was available, but there are
few issues that I was unsure how to address:
1.) it currently uses v2i32 for both input and output. This

[RFC PATCH v2 1/3] drm/nouveau/kms/nvd9-: Introduce some kernel-docs for CRC support
This is not complete documentation, but covers the pieces I read through
while reviewing the IGT CRC tests for nouveau. It covers the
nouveau-specific debugfs file, an overview of why the code is more
complicated than the DRM display CRC support documentation would lead
one to expect, and the nv50_crc_func vtable. Many of the details were
gleaned from Lyude's commit message, but I think

Make Samba4 ignore domain prefix on share logon
Hello,
at my work we are migrating from samba 3.6.24 on gentoo + openLDAP to
Windows Server 2012 AD DC + Samba 4.1.6 Ubuntu Member server for file
sharing. Our old configuration ignores domain prefixes when logging on to
shares i.e. I just need to type user instead of SAMDOM\user when accessing
share from windows machines. The Windows DC behaves like this too, but
samba 4 does not. Is there any
