international calling via POTS in Russia
Hi, I'm having a problem calling international numbers with debian's Asterisk 1.0.7 w/ zaptel 1.0.9 in Moscow. Russia doesn't seem to have touchtone dialing, so pulsedial is enabled on my TDM400P interface. Local numbers work fine, but when it comes to long distance or international, I'm lost. The prefix for these should be 8 (wait for dialtone) 10 (country code) (city code)

getting the unique values and counts from a vector

Timing cable usage necessity

multiple plots problem
Hello, for testing & learning purposes I create X11 device and specify layout like layout(c(1,2,3), 3, 1), so I could play with parameters and see several plots at the same time. That works fine until I try to create 4-th plot - all other plots erased. Such behaviour isn't desirable for testing purposes and I'm asking where to look to disable erasing other plots. Bug/feature: Slackware + openssh 2.1 does not work
Hello. I've tried to install openssh to my Linux Slackware boxes, but it works only for connecting to other hosts. The bug is in the auth-passwd.c of pppd. lattice: how to format axis labels?
Dear r-help, I draw graphics with xyplot() function. Labels on the y axis are appearing as follows: "1.5, 1, 0.5, 0" I'd like to have them to be "1.5, 1.0, 0.5, 0.0", i.e. with fixed number of digits after the dot (one in this case). problem installing RdbiPgSQL for 2.4
