[EuroLLVM] Hacker's Lab - Topics and Volunteers needed!
The hacker's lab will be organized similar to the one at the US 2016
meeting [0]. That means 1.5 hour sessions and theme tables in the
different rooms. Each table (~10) will have a sign on it to represent a
sub-project or area of LLVM. This will help newcomers and even active
developers congregate together on specific topics.
In addition to labeling tables, we are asking for volunteers to

Hi Christian,
We put your name down for an exception handling table at the same time &
room as the ARM (32/64) table [Renato]. I hope this is OK with you.
Thanks!

[EuroLLVM] Program available! Hacker's Lab topics wanted!
We are happy to announce that the list of accepted sessions is available
online [0].
The hacker's lab will be organized similar to the one at the US 2016
meeting [1]. To this end, we rely on you to send us topics via mail:

We will then look for knowledgeable volunteers and have a selection

[LLVMdev] hackers lab discussion item
I'm really interested to discuss the problem of running LLVM multiple
times on the same function in order to guide later tries.
In looking at things briefly earlier, it seemed that this was safe to do
as long as you didn't let asm printer get called on the result.
I.e. you could throw early results away with impunity.
It seems that by precompiling a function to get some information

Why are the hackers scanning for these?
Hey, I'm going thru logs, and I see some very common and interesting things
that the hackers are looking for.
In a whole bunch of scans, I've noticed that the first guess or two for sip
accounts
is usually a 10-digit number. I'm asking myself, why these numbers? Are they
looking
for a voip trunk? Or is it just like a serial number for the scan? What?
Here's some examples:

Numbers hackers call
I see a lot of attempts by hackers to call 00972595301123? or 011972595115207? or variations but that same 972595 is often present.
Can someone break down that dial string with an explanation? The 011 look like an overseas call (from Americas), while the 972595XXXXXX is unclear...

How to secure our Asterisk server from hacker's ?
Hi List,
I want to secure my server from the hacker's. What is the case by which I
can protest it.
I have done security of Dialplan, Sip,IAX base security. For linux we are
working on Iptables. What else is left so that I will do it too...

Hackers on my Web server
I have discovered that a gamer has hacked into my web server through a
backdoor left open by my predecessor. I have closed the door, but when I
try to delete the folders left behind I receive "Access Denied", or when
I try to take ownership I receive "Unable to Find File...". I have
removed most of the files to obtain enough space to continue operations
but would like to remove

component/ajax variable access problem
I''m trying to embed a little image gallery on each page. The photos
need to be different for each page. I just want to use ajax and let
them click on the photo and have it show the next image.
When the page loads, it shows the correct image. But when clicking on
it, it gives an error because it doesn''t know what @images is anymore.

Calling all Hackers
Hey guys.
I have a server that is owned by me and can confirm through servint that it
is owned by me.
I would like to do a penetration test and of course to allow you to upload
files on the server and kind of trash it to the point where it is always
restarting and running out of memory etc etc.
This is going to be mainly script kiddie stuff, however will be able to get
you hired on with me for

Booth volunteers needed for Grace Hopper Conference
Hello LLVM Developers!
Last year, the LLVM Foundation sponsored a booth at the Grace Hopper Conference. I had 2 amazing volunteers from the community, David Blaikie and Anna Zaks, help me spread the word about LLVM, compilers, and open source. It was a great experience and we are hoping to repeat this at the upcoming 2018 Grace Hopper conference in Houston, TX on September 26-28.

[LLVMdev] Release Notes: Volunteers needed
Has there been much thought of attempting to automate this process? I could
imagine a fairly standard script that scrubbed a history for interesting
tidbits. Of course a standard methodology for labeling types of commits
would help this in the future.
A very simple script could at least do unique word counts and throw out
words that match a dictionary (like parts of speech, contributer names,
