[RFC] Nios II backend
Hi, I'm from Intel compiler department. I am proposing the integration of a backend targeting Nios II processor architecture. Nios II is a 32-bit general-purpose RISC processor core designed specifically for the Altera family of FPGAs. All information at about Nios II can be found at Altera website https://www.altera.com/products/processors/support.html, including the current ISA

1. Re: Re: [Xen-devel] Re: switchroot mount failed
I encountered same error when use Xen3.0.2(source file) on CentOS4.2, after I downgraded to Xen2.0.7(source file), this error disappeared. now, I am using Xen2.0.7 instead of 3.0.2, it works well.

Nios 2 target code ownership
Dear LLVM community, Currently nobody is appointed as code owner for Nios 2 target. Since I've already developed a part of it and I'm planning to do more development in this area in coming weeks, I would like to volunteer myself to become code owner for this target. Please let me know if you have anything against, otherwise I'll add myself to CODE_OWNERS.TXT (I'll wait till the

Theora hardware is running on LEON3!
Theora hardware with LEON3 is runinng!!! My video was too slow, then I discovered that the problem was on LINUX! I don't exactly, but I suppose that the time of LINUX Call systems (like fread()) is the problem. If I don't use the linux (like is done on NIOS), I can to decode much faster than the time of exibition! Now we have two points on software (the hardware is the same,

Theora playing on a FPGA
Hi all, Great news. On Thursday I finally play a video on FPGA. As I said the implementation is using the NIOS II processor. Andr? Costa is hard working to use the LEON processor. The video resolution is 96x80, because we have some FPGA internal memory constraints. I will try to use external memory to make possible decode a video of at least 320x240. The result can be see here:

What goes to Hardware ?
Hi people, As I said before: I did the IDCT to run on the FPGA. My friends from university did the Reconstruction routines running on the FPGA. I'm helping with the LoopFilter, and it is almost there. (all VHDL) I did a small profiling of the libTheora running on a Altera Stratix II device: The processor used was the NIOS II with 8Kb of data and instruction cache, branch prediction and

[LLVMdev] Using isa with derived types
Hello, I am writing an optimization pass which optimizes code based on an online pointer analysis algorithm and need to detect pointers which are pointing to derived types. I have not had any problem identifying pointers in general using isa<PointerType>(...), but I can't seem to figure out how I can make sure that the pointer is pointing to a scalar value and not a function, array,

Next step of Hardware Theora
Hello, First of all, I would like to say that my work that I wrote in the other email would be to do in hardware the functions: CopyRecon, LoopFilter and UpdateUMVBorder. These are modules that Leonardo had made, but it wasn't ok in FPGA. When I had a chat with Leonardo we were thinking in rewrite these module for to do this running in FPGA (to debug in a Hardware level is much more

follow-up on ISA intrusion detection
Hi, I wrote a mail a few days ago concerning my setup with a front/back firewall, shorewall being front and ISA server 2004 acting as back firewall. I said that ISA server is logging some "intrusion attempts" namely requests coming from external interface to the internal network. As this shouldn''t happen (all intrusion attempts should be stopped by shorewall) I begun to

ISA Support in CentOS 4.4?
Hi, I'm trying to get my ISA modem to work on CentOS 4.4, but I am having trouble. I have a stock installation of the CentOS 4.4, and did a yum upgrade to ensure everything is the latest, however, I can't seem to detect or see the ISA modem. I remember back in the 2.2 kernel days, the need for isapnptools, however, from what I read that is supposed to already be included in the 2.6

ISA server can't validate users over samba trust
Hi All, I have a huge problem and hope somebody can help me. I have a Dc in a win2003 server in windows 2000 mixed mode. Also have an ISA 2004 as a member server of the 2003 domain and some DC with samba. There are trust working between samba and the dc in 2003, when i share any resource it works fine!, i can see users in 2003 and samba and give permissions. The issue is.... when in the isa

ISA sound cards and stuff
I've created kernel-isa and kernel-isasmp packages (currently i586, there'll be i686 version soon too). Basically, it is centosplus kernel with ISA Plug and Play, ISA and PCMCIA sound cards and ISA network cards enabled. The change to kernel spec file to add these two packages was fairly simple, and I hope this might find the way into centosplus kernel. If maintainer(s) of

Isa Soundcard under CentOS 5
Hello, Under Fedora Core 6 I used to integrate the soundcard of my notebook with modprobe snd-opl3sa2. Now, after changing my system to CentOS 5, I could not find this module for my isa soundcard any more. # ls -al /lib/modules/2.6.18-8.1.1.el5/kernel/sound/isa/ insgesamt 24 drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 27. Restrict global constructors to base ISA
I'm testing on older OS X 10.8 with older SSE4 hardware from about 2010. I've got updated gear from MacPorts and it includes GCC and Clang. GCC is the compiler, and Clang is the assembler. We perform a compile/link on a test file to ensure an ISA is supported by the toolchain. If an ISA is available then we compile a source file to the ISA as needed. Then, we guard the higher ISAs at
