[LLVMdev] exporting Dags
Hi, Did anyone thought of a serialization/deserialization mechanism for DAGs ? Right now i am using the -view-dags functions family. The dot file produced is great for drawing but i find it a bit hard to rebuilt a graph from there(the dot parser are somewhat buggy and much of the useful information is packed in the label element... ) all ideas are welcome... Thanks -------------- next part

[RFC] Enhance Partial Inliner by using a general outlining scheme for cold blocks
I second the fact that a way to outline specific function regions independently of the partial inliner sound very useful. I am not sure however if we would want a mode within the partialInliner or something completely independent. As a general question, does anybody has a clear idea of what are the constraints on the region CodeExtractor is currently able to handle ? Going through the code, it

local users and virtual users
Hi list, I'm facing this problem: I have a e few local (system) users and a bunch of virtual users (in MySQL). To make it easy for the big group, I've set a default domain which is not the domain of the server (which is just the servername). So the big group logs in with there short name without @<domain>. BUT the few system users (in passwd) cannot login to pop or imap because

[PATCH RFC] drm/nouveau: fix memory leak in nvkm_iccsense_oneinit
Ben, I think this is like the 5th patch tackling this issue, I think we should merge one of those. [PATCH RFC] drm/nouveau: fix memory leak in nvkm_iccsense_oneinit
struct pw_rail_t is allocated as an array in function nvios_iccsense_parse, and stored to a struct member of local variable. However, the array is not freed when the local variable becomes invalid, and the reference is not passed on, leading to a memory leak. Fix this by freeing struct pw_rail_t when exiting nvkm_iccsense_oneinit. Signed-off-by: Keita Suzuki <keitasuzuki.park at

high number of processes
Hi, Sometimes a script kiddie tries to guess passwords on our mailserver (Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS, postfix, dovecot 1.2.9, scanners, the standard stuff). That leads to a nagios message about the high number of processes. The number goes above 500. Nagios threshold is set to 250, which is more than enough for normal operation of this server. When are these processes supposed to die again? They seem to

Seattle Meetup?
Hi all, It looks like I''ll be in Seattle on Sunday, September 16th through Tuesday the 18th, and I''d like to have Puppet Meetup either Sunday or Monday night. On Adam''s recommendation, I''ll be staying at the Queen Anne Inn, so something near there would be best. Hopefully Adam or Blake can do the actual organization. :) Any takers? -- What is

finite mixture model (2-component Weibull): plotting Weibull components?
Dear Knowledgeable R Community Members, Please excuse my ignorance, I apologize in advance if this is an easy question, but I am a bit stumped and could use a little guidance. I have a finite mixture modeling problem -- for example, a 2-component Weibull mixture -- where the components have a large overlap, and I am trying to adapt the "mclust" package which concern to normal

PAM authentication fails
Hi, I'm fighting all weekend on with auth and pam to authenticate local system users. testuser is such local user and is in passwd and shadow. I want to have local system users (testuser is one of them) and virtual users. The virtual part works fine but I cannot get the local user to connect. Still pam fails finding the user. The suggested password mismatch at the end is, in my eyes,

Convert plugin
Hi, I'm trying to get old mail from /var/mail/<user>, where <user> is the (sometimes) huge mailfile, not a directory, converted to the maildir INBOX in ~/Maildir. Users have no ~/mail directory; they were supposed to use pop3 only. I'm trying the example from the wiki: plugin { convert_mail = mbox:~/mail:INBOX=/var/mail/%n } but have still not succeded. I tried

Asterisk guru wanted, SoCal (LA/OC/San Bernardino County)
We've mostly gotten our Asterisk install working, but there are a couple glitches I haven't been able to fix. I'm looking for someone who knows Asterisk, can do some consulting work, and is in Southern California. Los Angeles or Orange County are ok, but I'd prefer someone in the Inland Empire, with strongest preference given to people here in the High Desert or in the San

OFF-TOPIC: Job opening in Marin County, California
I'm feeling rather sheepish about adding to topic drift, but like Jim last week, I'm looking for a developer to work on either/both front-/back-end components of our LAMP (with P as in Perl) application. Compared to Jim, I can probably promise a little less abuse but just as many hours and as much stress. More details here: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/eng/669189624.html CentOS

US county map question
Hi R-help: I'm just an old guy and new to this list... But have been using R for years now. I want to make a map of counties in the US with shaded colors that depend on the level of variable "Y" that I want to map. I have the US county and state fips codes and the Y variable. How do I do this? Please reply to pzs6@cdc.gov Thanks, Phil Smith pzs6@cdc.gov [[alternative HTML

Plotting data on a US County Map
Hi, I have a data frame listing US counties and a quantity ("number") per county and I have a shapefile of the US with county ID's. I would like to plot the "number" variable on a map (in the shapefile) using a color range per county (e.g. white = min(number) = 2, black = max(number) = 15). Can anyone help me actually plotting the data on the map? This is how far I got.

Package "maps": what is the name of county # 2395?
I am using "maps". I am running the following code to get this list of all the counties: map('county', plot=FALSE)$names In the output, all counties have first the state listed and then, after a comma, the name of the county. However, county # 2395 (State = south dakota) has no county name. Anyone knows what this county is? Thank you! -- Dimitri Liakhovitski
