Saw this mentioned on Lambda, and thought it was worth pointing out (though I'm betting most of you are Lambda readers). [LLVMdev] Saturation Arithmetic Canonical Form?
Are there best practices regarding how to express saturation arithmetic in LLVM IR? In particular I want to make sure the IR translates efficiently to (SSE) vector instructions when executed in a simple loop. Resampler saturation
Hi Jean-Marc, I use the resampler to convert various sampling frequencies to 48 kHz on my Blackfin platform (fixed-point) 48K -> 16K speex -> 48K chain does not sound very good compared to plain 16K.
