Hello, after installing the openjdk 1.6 packages from centos testing the webinterface of my hp jetdirect 300x printserver doesn't work anymore. The webpage is loaded but the applets don't start - no java console and no error messages are shown. When I compile some Java code I am getting this sort of error: "package org.apache.http.annotation does not exist" I am presuming that I am missing a Jar file in /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk.x86_64. Most of the Jar files in /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk.x86_64 come from one or another RPMs, most from the CentOS 5 distro RPMs. But I cannot figure out which RPM(s) I am missing.

It appears that the rpm does not list the logging.properties as a config file, as such every time yum updates the file get overwritten. /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0.x86_64/jre/lib/logging.properties For now I have a cron job to replace it. If you have the epel repo installed and enabled during a yum update, you get java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0-1.0.b12.el5.2 instead of the stock .b09 version. Is this intentional and desirable?
