It seems emails to me were not sent out due to them being held back by sendgrid spam protection. In case somebody else has this problem, this might be something to look into. I understand that keeping this within one company is easiest from an organization perspective, so if Fangrui and Mehdi (and other Googlers) are able to take this on, that’s great. It's actually surprising to me that the emails from Phabricator and llvm's svn *DO* get through most of the time. Both of these fabricate the "From" address to generate an email purportedly be from the author of the svn revision or phabricator comment's email address. I can’t really provide a doc, but i can describe what I believe to be the biggest problem. In a GH PR, comments are associated with commit hashes. If a commit hash ceases to exist, so do all comments associated with it. The comments are quite literally destroyed and irretrievable.
