Weird fullscreen behavior with 0.9.57 and 0.9.58
Hi all, Since two WINE versions, I'm experiencing the same behavior reported in http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10755 but related to two other fullscreen'ed programs: EVE Online v.4.10.51200 Premium World of Warcraft 2.3.3 w/Burning Crusade Before starting a regression (I'm ready to do that but my machine isn't the fastest kid in town, so I want to be sure it's a

fullscreen uses panning, and xrandr has cursor moving
I'm having a problem with games running in wine fullscreen with nvidia proprietary driver 185.18 under Fedora 11 64-bit. My desktop resolution is 1920x1200, and when I run a game with 1280x960 fullscreen setup (like Halo for example), it changes resolution to 1280x960 and runs fullscreen as expected, but when I move the mouse toward the edge rapidly, it pans the game screen away as if

Recommended Packages document
Fresh install of Debian Etch. Before I install wine (from winehq), I'd like to double check something about the following document. I've only included the portion refering to Debian. http://wiki.winehq.org/Recommended_Packages The document was last edited 2007-10-07 15:26:02. My question is about the last comment about freeglut3-dev. Still required or not, would there be any problems if I

compile errors with rgl-0.70.570 on FreeBSD
Thank you for your work on rgl. Reading in another thread about your new (inofficial) version of rgl (see below) I tried it with R version 2.5.0 alpha (2007-03-31 r40986) under FreeBSD 7.0-CURRENT. Unfortunately I got the following error: ------- #R CMD INSTALL rgl_0.70.570.tar.gz * Installing to library '/usr/local/lib/R/library' * Installing *source* package 'rgl' ...

trouble installing building packages from source using R 2.6.0 on Ubuntu Gutsy AMD64
I have recently upgraded to Ubuntu Gutsy and, for the first time, am using a 64-bit installation. After failing miserably to install R from source, not a problem for me in the past with a 32-bit install, I went the route of using the Debian Etch build. This went smoothly, but I am unable to update my numerous R and BioConductor packages, getting non-zero exit status errors on each package. Is

wine1.2rc-x changes brightnes in flash fullscreen (nvidia)
Hey, I've noticed some strange behaviour in the latest wine versions 1.2rc-x. At 1.2rc-1-3 when I installed games like Guild Wars or Runes of Magic the first start in fullscreen turned the birghtness level of my laptop to 100%. (having a Sony VGN-NR21S with an Nvidia 8400M-GT). I'm setting the brightness level with smartdimmer (nvclock package). When I enter "smartdimmer -s

Compiling - WARNING: No OpenGL library found on this system.
I downloaded Wine sources with Git. Now when I cd to wine-git folder and do ./configure, at the end I get a message: Code: "configure: WARNING: No OpenGL library found on this system. OpenGL and Direct3D won't be supported. configure: Finished. Do 'make depend && make' to compile Wine." I installed all packages from this script - http://kegel.com/wine/hardy.sh

Revisited - No fullscreen on FreeNX
This topic came up some time back and I pretty much ignored it, but the "itch" came back to find out why. Searching through the FreeNX/knx list came up with the reason sessions did not come up full-screen even though the session definition was set to fullscreen. Apparently there is an oversight in /usr/bin/nxnode, the script is never retrieving the fullscreen flag from the parameters

Fullscreen support on dual head with virtual desktop
Is there a way to force the fullscreen property on wine virtual desktop? Since i'm running dual head with xinerama I usually run some applications in fullscreen on one monitor (like remote desktop) while still being able to use the second monitor Until recently I ran wine this way too, since a legacy hack in compiz fusion made it fullscreen, but an upgrade "fixed" the bug I had

Force window fullscreen
Hi all, I'm looking for a way to force a certain window on my desktop to go fullscreen. The window in question is from Enemy Territoy, it tries to go fullscreen, but for some reason doesn't work, and stay always redirected with obvious framerate slowdown (keep 6-7 fps average on a FX 5200). I was thinking something like xwinwrap, which you can call a process and force his window to

WINE and NVIDIA issues - scrolling away from fullscreen
Hi everybody :) I seem to have a problem with my WINE running fullscreen applications, such as games. When I start, say, a fullscreen game, it does start in fullscreen, but if I move my mouse to the right or bottom edge of the screen, the game screen "scrolls away", and I'm shown my desktop (at a lower resolution). When I pull my mouse/touchpad back to the left or upper edge, the

Half Life 2 Episode 1 Audio and Fullscreen issues wine1.2rc7
I recently updated to the newest stable wine through the ppa for Ubuntu. I didn't have problems running Half Life 2 E1 before upgrading but now I have a few issues. When launching the game it's in a sort of a windowed mode and then when it goes to load the main menu it tries to go fullscreen but I can still see my dock and my top panel. If I adjust the screen resolution and set it back I

fullscreen 3D leads to gnome panels rearranging
Hi, Just wondering if anyone else has seen this behavior? Today I ran some 3D demos, just for fun (from http://www.vividimage.enta.net/electrome/) !!! When the demo ends and gives me back a gnome desktop all my panels icons had rearranged and ended up at the right hand corner in a tiny clump. In windowed mode its fine just full screen. Any ideas? Should I file a bug report or is this

OOO Game switches to fullscreen although it shouldn't
Hi to all, I have home built wine 0.9.14 on 32bit Slackware 10.2, kernel 2.6.15.5 running on AMD64. I recently installed the free game Out Of Order from http://outoforder.adventuredevelopers.com/ It installed OK with default screen resolution of 640x480. My current screen resolution is 1600x1200 and I have configured wine to run all of the applications in a window, even if they want to
