Hi I would like to normalize my data by one of the variables in long format. My data is like this: > t1<-data.frame(id=rep(1:3,rep(3,3)),dt=rep(1:3,rep(9,3)),var=c('num1','num2','norm'),value=rnorm(27)) > t1 id dt var value 1 1 1 num1 -1.83276256 2 1 1 num2 1.57034303 3 1 1 norm 0.60008563 4 2 1 num1 -0.96893477 5 2 1 num2 0.30423346 6

having more than one plot in one figure
Hi All, I have been trying to plot multiple line plots with different colors on one figure. in my example below I was able to plot cat vs num1 as a dot plot connected with lines but was not able to do that for cat vs num2 and I do not know how to add the third plot cat vs num3. below is my code df <- data.frame(cat=1:10, num1=rnorm(10), num2=rnorm(10), num3=rnorm(10)) plot(df$num1,

USING TWO ACCOUNTS WITH BROADVOICE
Hi, I have two accounts with broadvoice. Now, I want to be able to distinguish between them. I though that this would be simple by adding "/EXTEN" at the end of the register statement. For example: register => num1:pass@sip.broadvoice.com/1000 Unfortunately, this is not working. When I call into my box I hear busy tone. My config looks like this: [root@voip asterisk]# cat sip.conf

[llvm] To link or not to link
Hi, I have migrated an LLVM front-end from LLVM 3.5 to 3.8 and now to 3.9 and ORC, and there is a concept which I could not transfer. Consider: extern "C" { void somefunc() {} } … auto llvmfunc = llvm::Function::Create(type, llvmFunction::PrivateLinkage, "bla", module)); executionengine.addGlobalMapping(llvmfunc, &somefunc); // now I have llvmfunc to work with and

List Conversion
Hello, I have a list (mode and class are list) in R that is many elements long and of the form: >length(list) [1] 5778 >list[1:4] $ID1 [1] "num1" $ID2 [1] "num2" "num3" $ID3 [1] "num4" $ID4 [1] NA I'd like to convert the $ID2 value to be in one element rather than in two.?? It shows up as c(\"num2\", \"num3\") if I try to use

How to repeat "for" function?
Dear Users, I have one problem here, I tried many time and even read a few notes on writing function but still..... Can anyone help me on how to simplify Part B (please refer the programming below), so that I don't have to repeat the calculation of "num" and "r" ? Thank you very much..every help is very much appreciated... ## Part A n=1400 m=matrix(c(0,0,0,0),4,1)

Problems using unique function and !duplicated
Hi, I am trying to simultaneously remove duplicate variables from two or more variables in a small R data.frame. I am trying to reproduce the SAS statements from a Proc Sort with Nodupkey for those familiar with SAS. Here's my example data : test <- read.csv("test.csv", sep=",", as.is=TRUE) > test date var1 var2 num1 num2 1 28/01/11 a 1 213 71 2

confused by lapply
Description: 'lapply' returns a list of the same length as 'X', each element of which is the result of applying 'FUN' to the corresponding element of 'X'. I expect that when I do > lapply(vec,f) f would be called _once_ for each component of vec. this is not what I see: parse.num <- function (s) { cat("parse.num1\n"); str(s) s

debugging Orc JIT'ed code
Hi Geoff, hi Alex If you implement the GDB JIT Interface in your Orc JIT, this is in general possible (at least from the JIT's point of view) with both debuggers, GDB and LLDB. Please have a look at the example here: https://github.com/weliveindetail/JitFromScratch/tree/jit-debug/gdb-interface You will probably need to adjust the code depending on the LLVM version you are using. As described

getSymbolAddressInProcess returning null
Tried that, still didn't work. Then I tried making a direct API call, GetProcAddress(GetModuleHandle(0),"foo") And this works if and only if __declspec(dllexport) is supplied. So it looks like we were both right. On Sat, Apr 2, 2016 at 9:29 AM, NAKAMURA Takumi <geek4civic at gmail.com> wrote: > Have you tried to add dllexport? > > On Sat, Apr 2, 2016 at 4:23 PM

JIT compiler, Windows, external functions like cos
Hello LLVM team, our software FluidSIM (www.fluidsim.de) simulates pneumatic, hydraulic and electric circuits. For the mathematical models we use the language Modelica (www.modelica.org). We developed our own Modelica simulator which solves the dynamical created algebraic differential equation systems. One tool is our small JIT compiler, which compiles mathematical expressions like “2*x0 +

LLVM JIT 3.9 vs 6.0: How to emitAndFinalize multiple modules correctly?
Hi all, I am having hard time figuring out how I should use the API for JIT in LLVM 6. In LLVM 3.9 I am used to adding all objects at once and emitAndFinalizing them all: handle = objectLayer.addObjectSet(objectFiles, memoryManager, resolver); objectLayer.emitAndFinalize(handle); In LLVM 6.0 the objects are added one by one: auto handle = objectLayer.addObject(objectFile, resolver).get();

mapply on multiple data frames
Hi all- I am wondering about using the mapply function to multiple data frames. Specifically, I would like to do a t-test on a subset of multiple data frames. All data frames have the same structure. Here is my code so far: f<-function(x,y) { test<-t.test(x$col1[x$col3=="num",],v$col2[x$col3=="num",],paired=T,alternative="greater") out<-test$p.value

read.table: colClasses when num. of columns is unknown
Hi, I am looking for a way to read tables that have general structure of characterTag num1 num2 ... i.e. one character column followed by an unknown to the caller (but fixed throughout the file) number of numeric columns. I wanted to improve the speed of read.table by using colClasses, but that seemed to require knowledge of the actual number of columns in the file. For example I tried

debugging Orc JIT'ed code
Greetings, LLVM wizards. I was just wondering if any progress has been made on this issue in the last few months (using gdb to debug a module compiled by Orc). I had to move to the Orc API in order to be able to call modules' constructors and destructors as needed, but I would quite like to be able to debug and profile the resulting code as well... Thanks, Geoff -------------- next part

Invalid Signature of orc::RTDyldObjectLinkingLayer::NotifyLoadedFtor
Hi all, hi Lang It's a little late to report issues for release_50, but I just found that thing while porting my JitFromScratch examples to 5.0. This is a really nifty detail, but (if I'm not mistaken) the function signature of RTDyldObjectLinkingLayer::NotifyLoadedFtor is incorrect: $ grep -h -r -A 1 "using NotifyLoadedFtor"
