Directory still not listed using ls -la, but I can cd into.
I can rename it and it becomes available when I rename it back to the
original name it's disappeared again.

Hi Serg,
Do you mean that turning off readdir-optimize did not work? Or did you mean
turning off parallel-readdir did not work?

Invisible files and directories
Hi,
I'm currently facing the same behaviour.?
Today, one of my users tried to delete a folder. It failed, saying the directory wasn't empty. ls -lah showed an empty folder but on the bricks I
found some files. Renaming the directory caused it to reappear.
We're running gluster 3.12.7-1 on Debian 9 from the repositories provided by gluster.org, upgraded from 3.8 a while ago. The

Hi,
I noticed when I run gluster volume heal data info, the follow message
shows up in the log, along with other stuff:
[dht-selfheal.c:2328:dht_selfheal_directory] 0-data-dht: Directory selfheal

I'm seeing it on Gluster 4.0.1 and 3.13.2.
Here's the full log after running heal info:

On a side note, try recently released health report tool, and see if it
does diagnose any issues in setup. Currently you may have to run it in all
the three machines.

Healing : No space left on device
Hello list,
I have an issue on my Gluster cluster. It is composed of two data nodes
and an arbiter for all my volumes.
After having upgraded my bricks to gluster 3.12.9 (Fedora 27), this is
what I get :
??? - on node 1, volumes won't start, and glusterd.log shows a lot of :

New 3.12.7 possible split-brain on replica 3
Hello,
Last Friday I upgraded my GlusterFS 3.10.7 3-way replica (with arbitrer) cluster to 3.12.7 and this morning I got a warning that 9 files on one of my volumes are not synced. Ineeded checking that volume with a "volume heal info" shows that the third node (the arbitrer node) has 9 files to be healed but are not being healed automatically.
All nodes were always online and there

I remember we have fixed 2 issues where such kind of error messages were coming and also we were seeing issues on mount.
In one of the case the problem was in dht. Unfortunately, I don't remember the BZ's for those issues.
As glusterfs 3.10.1 is an old version, I would request you to please upgrade it to latest one. I am sure this
would have fix .

New 3.12.7 possible split-brain on replica 3
As I was suggested in the past by this mailing list a now ran a stat and getfattr on one of the problematic files on all nodes and at the end a stat on the fuse mount directly. The output is below:
NODE1:

Thanks Ravi for your answer.
Stupid question but how do I delete the trusted.afr xattrs on this brick?
And when you say "this brick", do you mean the brick on the arbitrer node (node 3 in my case)?
