Gluster client mount fails in mid flight with signum 15
All four clients did run 3.10.2 as well The volumes has been running fine until we upgraded to 3.10, when we hit some issues with port mismatches. We restarted all the volumes, the servers and the clients and now hit this issue. We?ve since backed up the files, remove the volumes, removed the bricks, removed gluster, installed glusterfs 3.7.20, created new volumes on new bricks, restored the

Problem wit glusterfs-server 3.4
Hi at all! i'm trying to use glusterfs for the first time and have the following problem: I want to have two nodes. On node1 I have a raid1-sytem running in /raid/storage Both nodes see the other and now I try to create a volume. While I create the first volume on a fresh system (node1) for the first time, gluster said: volume create: glustervolume: failed: /raid/storage/ or a prefix of it

how to drop fields by name when reading in data?
I have a number of space separated files of weather data, with some equivalent column names, and differing number of fields in each file. Some of the files have 40 or more vars, but I only want a subset of the fields. I can use colClasses with read.table to drop some of the fields, but only if I know where those columns are in the first place, and they're not always in the same place. So I

plenty of vacuuuming processes
Hi, I have a ctdb cluster with 3 nodes and 3 glusterfs (version 6) nodes up and running. I observe plenty of these situations: A connected Windows-10 client doesn't react anymore. I use forder redirections.? - Smbstatus shows up some (auth in progress) processes. - In the logs of a ctdb node I get: Aug 23 10:12:29 ctdb-1 ctdbd[2167]: Ending traverse on DB locking.tdb (id 568831), records

Glusterfs with Infiniband tips
Hello guys, I was wondering if someone could share their glusterfs volume and system settings if you are running glusterfs with infiniband networking. In particular I am interested in using the glusterfs + infiniband + kvm for virtualisation. However, any other implementation would also be useful for me. I've tried various versions of glusterfs (versions 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4beta) over the past

Would difference in size (and content) of a file on replicated bricks be healed?
Hi... Started playing with gluster. And the heal functions is my "target" for testing. Short description of my test ---------------------------- * 4 replicas on single machine * glusterfs mounted locally * Create file on glusterfs-mounted directory: date >data.txt * Append to file on one of the bricks: hostname >>data.txt * Trigger a self-heal with: stat data.txt =>

Network Flight Recorder
Hello, I'm planning to deploy a monitoring tool for security purposes, and I'm considering the Network Flight Recorder. Can anybody give me some pros and cons about this (or any other sniffing-based) tool? Thanks in advance. Combat Flight Simulator 2
I know this is a pretty old game, but I feel like the problem is universal. Graphics settings for the game don't detect any graphics drivers other than a HAL display device. This is weird, as I've had other games like Ghost Recon work flawlessly with my card, which is an Intel GMA X3100 / GM965. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

strange fonts in flight simulator 98 and wine 1.0
I installed flight simulator 98 using wine 1.0 and have fonts that look like chess pieces and zeros. The pull down menus are ok, but the dialog boxes are unreadable. I have the *.ttf files installed in wine. Do I need to install directx from the flight simulator cd into wine? Do I need a specific font file or do I need set the path to the font file?
