ccomp Composition and ggtern plot...
I have no clue what this package is for, but reading the help page for the ccomp function tells you that it returns a numeric vector or matrix. How do YOU want to display information from this numeric vector? That will determine how you would put it into a data frame.

theme_showarrows()+geom_segment(size=.5)+
geom_text_viewport(x=c(.45,.27,.37),y=c(.32,.29,.22),label=as.expression("P_a","P_b","P_c"))

reading ?plotmath you might notice that "_" isn't the propper syntax for
subscripts. This will work:
ggtern(data=x11,aes(A,B,C,xend = c(0.7,.00,0.7),yend =
c(.30,.50,.0),zend =c(.0,.50,0.3)))+
geom_point()+
theme_showarrows()+geom_segment(size=.5)+
geom_text_viewport(x=c(.45,.27,.37),y=c(.32,.29,.22),label=c("P[a]","P[b]","P[c]"),
parse=TRUE)

Weird R Studio behaviour...
Hi,
Have a nice week. First of all, I know this is not R Studio forum but I want to ask here first, if you all do not mind. Well, I am away from my computer right now but, I have a strange problem (at least to me). My script worked perfectly for a year, and today, suddenly stop working because R Studio begins to warn me about illegal characters in the script.
System is on W 10, and R 3.4.1 is

I think you should also update R to the latest version, as that *might* be
the source of the problem.
Other may be able to give you a specific diagnosis, but updating R is to a
(reasonably, at least) current version is good practice anyway.
Cheers,
Bert

adding texts to plots and a problem....
Hello,
I have a problem with adding texts to my plots: The code is
/plot(dates(as.character(tam[,tkolon])),d[,i],ylab=names(d[i]),ylim=c(galt,gust),type="l")
abline(orta,0,lty=3,col=3)
text(//length(d[,i]//),0.025+(orta),expression(mu),col=3)
abline(orta+l2,0,lty=4,col=2)
text(length(d[,i]),0.025+(orta+l2),expression(+2*sigma),col=2)
abline(orta-l2,0,lty=4,col=2)

I have this dataframe:

ternary contour plot
Colin,
If your propose is to create a ternary plot with points and vectors, I think easier do this with graphics based plots instead of trellis based plots. Although, with little work you can do with trellis too. I gave you a reproducible code to put an arrow in a ternary plot. I use the function locator() to extract coordinates. The code is the following
