annoying. Is this correctable? I have searched throught this archives

Lenovo T420 internal microphone not working
Hello,
I have CentOS 7.1 installed on my Lenovo T420 Notebook. Now I will start to have some online meetings for a software project. In Bios the I/O-settings for camera and microphone are enabled. Camera is working (tested with cheese).
In the audio settings of Gnome perferences I see an internal microphone which doesn't produce any input. The microphone is also not disabled by the key on

Hi:
we have following setup:
1. 2.6.16-33-based Xen 3.0.3/Xen-3.0.4 DOM-0 kernels.
2. Using LILO-mbootpack from USB we boot Xen-->DOM-0 setup
3. We mount harddisk and try to install xp.hvm
While,we are successful with FCs as DOM-U, for XP we get, VBD (768)
could not be connected.
We do have max_loop count to 64 and enough loop devices.
Note that above error is consistent on both 3.0.3

Echo Cancellation not working on WinCE
Hello Friends,
I am trying to use speex-1.2beta3 version for echo cancelling.
On my WinCE board I am using WaveIn/WaveOut functions to record and playback
audio.
I am receiving audio data on udp socket, then playing it on speaker using
WaveOutWrite function.
I registered callback to capture microphone data, then data chunk came from
socket ( which I played on speaker) and data captured from

Cool Mic
I've been directing the development for a new Icecast 2.x source client
for Android called "Cool Mic". It's designed to be simple and elegant
with an easy to use interface. It uses the device's microphone to
broadcast live audio in Ogg Vorbis format.
It's come to the point in development where I'd like to ask for anyone
interested in helping give feedback. All core

Microphone works in Ubuntu, but not in WINE
My apologies beforehand if this is a common issue, but I have next to no experience with Ubuntu.
I have a regular microphone hooked into my MoBo onboard sound and it works fine in Ubuntu (tested using a sound recorder).
When I launch Steam, and any game within, I cannot get my microphone to work.
I haven't tested this in other programs in WINE since I don't have anything else installed

Mic Plugged into sound card not working
Hey guys,
I have a mic plugged into my sound card. It worked late last night but
not today. When I try to select the mic using System/Preferences/Sound
I'm provided with several options to choose from.
On the Hardware tab I choose the Internal Audio device and set it to
Analog Stereo Duplex.
On the Input tab I choose Internal Audio Analog Stereo there are two

trouble getting speex_echo_cancel() to work
I'm trying to convert my current headphones and microphone chat
application to support loudspeakers and microphone, and so I thought I'd
give speex_echo_cancel() a try.
Since my users quite frequently have other sound-producing applications
running on their computer (such as winamp), I sample 'wave' recording
device of the soundcard in addition to the microphone.

Wine and Audio problem
Hi,
I installed wine in order to be able to transfer data from my Polar Heart
Rate Monitor to my computer. The program uses sound to transmit data files,
which are picked up my the microphone and then the program shows all data,
if all goes well. It worked perfectly twice, but then I get sound problems.
The problem here, is that the sounds from the HRM are not being picked up by
the microphone.

Before committing to about 50 of the spa942's, I like to take a last

Expecting to deploy these using existing cat5 cabling and both rj45

Echocanceller soundcards problem
Hello,
I'm currently using speex library to do echo cancellation but I have an USB microphone and
I've read that speex cannot handle different sound cards. But my question is :
Is it possible to find a workaround (knowing that my configuration will be fixed) to make the echo cancellation works with an USB microphone ?
If it's not, do you now another good library which can handle this
