Model studies in one analysis using treatment as a five level moderator in a meta-regression
hi Jay, Consult a local statistician. Model studies in one analysis using treatment as a five level moderator in a meta-regression
Dear Vito, Thank you for your reply. I tried to contact the statistics departement numerous times, but did not receive any reply. That is why I started to look on the internet for help. Yours sincerely, Jay Verstuurd vanaf mijn iPhone > Op 26 jun. 2017 om 22:05 heeft Vito Michele Rosario Muggeo <vito.muggeo at unipa.it> het volgende geschreven: > > hi Jay, > Consult a local

Change Rcode for a meta-analysis(netmeta) to use a random effects model instead of a mixed effects model
Hello, I am writing a meta-analysis on the complication and reoperation rates after 5 treatment modalities of a distal radius fracture. I have a code to compare the complication and reoperation rates. Currently it is using a mixed effects model. Is it possible to change the code so a random effects model is used? Thank you very much, Jay R code library(meta) library(readxl) All <-

The code in your mail in a mangled mess, since you posted in HTML. Please configure your email client to send emails in plain text. Could you explain what exactly you mean by "Currently it is using a mixed effects model. Is it possible to change the code so a random effects model is used?" Comparing pooled proportions(complication and reoperation rates) of different treatment modalities
Dear sir/madame, I am currently writing a meta-analysis on the complication and reoperation rates of 5 different treatment modalities after a distal radius fracture. I was able to pool the rates of the 5 different rates using R. Now I have to compare the pooled rates of the 4 treatment modalities with the golden standard separately. I though the chi squared test would be the best method. How do

Sum of columns of a data frame equal to NA when all the elements are NA
Dear list users, let me ask you this trivial question. I worked on that for a long time, by now. Suppose to have a data frame with NAs and to sum some columns with rowSums: df <- data.frame(A = runif(10), B = runif(10), C = rnorm(10)) df[1, ] <- NA rowSums(df[ , which(names(df) %in% c("A","B"))], na.rm=T) If all the elements of the selected columns are NA, rowSums

NoMethodError in Event_type#create
I am new Ruby on Rails, so excuse me if my question seems pretty obvious. I am trying to validate uniqueness of a filed: class EventType < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :sport validates_uniqueness_of :event_type end When I run it, I get this error message: Showing /event_type/new.rhtml where line #27 raised undefined method `each'' for nil:NilClass <select

Comparing pooled proportions(complication and reoperation rates) of different treatment modalities
What is the best way to change my R code to be able to compare the pooled proportions(complication and reoperation rates) with the Chi square method? Probably the wrong list. R-help is concerned with R programming, not statistics methodology questions, although the intersection can be nonempty. I suggest you post on stats.stackexchange.com instead, which *is* concerned with statistics methodology questions. [LLVMdev] ConstantExpr Evaluation
Hi, What I'm currently working on is a translation from LLVM IR to a register transfer list format used in VPO. If my understanding of ConstantExpr is correct, that they can be evaluated at compile-time, how can I simply have them be evaluated but have the code still remain in IR format? For example, in: store i32 1, i32* getelementptr [6 x i32]* @arr, i32 0, i32 0 the getelementptr

[LLVMdev] Reading Static Values
Hi, I'm currently trying to translate LLVM IR language to VPO .dec file specification. I'm using LLVM source parser in the same way that it is used in tools llc or llvm-as. One issue I'm having is I cannot find any static values. For example, in a global declaration i.e. '@a = global i32 7, align 4' I cannot get '7' from the parsed structure. Similarly (sort

reading multiple XML files into an R table
Good morning fellow R users! I need to read multiple .XML files now gathered in one folder and collect them in a table in R. The files have only numeric names and are named nearly continuously (e.g 1.xml, 2.xml, 3.xml ..... up to about 40000.xml) but with a few missing numbers/files. So the code must be able to handle missing files. Can someone suggest a FOR-loop in R that could be able to read

Where put buissness logic?
I''ve always think that it belongs to controller but I''ve read few articles that it should be done by model and controller should be thin glue betwean model and view. Where should I put it? Regards -- I''ve probably left my head... somewhere. Please wait untill I find it. Homepage (pl_PL): http://uzytkownik.jogger.pl/ (GNU/)Linux User: #425935 (see

Need a little help with the pure Ruby win32-eventlog
Hi all, I''m working on the EventLog#read method for the pure Ruby version of win32-eventlog, but I''m stuck on the get_description private method. Here are the problems: * I don''t think I''m advancing the EVENTLOGRECORD properly between iterations. Take a look at the end of the "while dwread > 0" loop. I get some records, but not all of them.
