Loading Rcmdr
Dear Jack, There's not enough information here to know what the problem might be. Please see < https://www.r-project.org/help.html>, in particular the section on asking for help, and follow the link to the posting guide. At a minimum, explain what you did and what happened. It's generally informative to provide the results of Sys.info() and sessionInfo() . Best, John

R: Moran's I
Hi- I would like to assign distance classes (lags) to the moran''s I test in R. I don¹t have equally spaced points since I was mapping shrubs across a landscape (vs. an experiment or survey in a grid). I somehow need to select points based on the distances in the distance matrix (i.e., I need to select all pairs of points that occur 0-25 m from each other, 25-50 m, etc...). Does

Iterators in Ruby Bindings
Regarding this project suggestion, viz., wrapping C++ iterators better in Ruby (http://trac.xapian.org/wiki/ProjectIdeas#WrapCiteratorsbetterforRuby), is this project still open to being worked on, or has its status changed? I've been using Xapian at work through Python, but I am familiar with Ruby and would enjoy working on something in Ruby related to search. Thanks for building such a

sshd 7.8p1 close connection from VMware Fusion NAT Port Forwarding
After upgrading my VMware Fusion (10.1.3) Arch Guest to the latest with OpenSSH upgraded from 7.7p1 to 7.8p1, found that ssh from macOS Sierra (10.12.6) host to Arch guest via local NAT port forwarding failed, but via Arch LAN IP worked, downgraded OpenSSH from 7.8p1 to 7.7p1 fixed the problem. Any idea about this bug? VMware Fusion NAT Port Forwarding setup: VMware Fusion ? NAT Port Forwarding

Rcmdr -> doItAndPrint -> summary method of S4-class object not in Rcmdr window but R Console
Dear list member, John Fox proposed to me posting this problem to R-Help: I have written a function suited for Rcmdr and included this in a R-file located in Rcmdr/etc as well as an augmented `Rcmdr-menus.txt'. Now, I am faced with the following problem: method show() of a S4-class object works flawlessly, that is `doItAndPrint' works flawlessly and its output is returned correctly into

Dear R People: Hope you're having a great weekend! Anyhow, I'm currently experimenting with R Studio on a web server, which is the best thing since sliced bread, Coca Cola, etc. My one question: there is a way to show plots. is there a way to show Rcmdr or its Plugins, please? I tried, but it doesn't seem to work. Thanks so much, Sincerely, Erin -- Erin Hodgess Associate

I might extend the guide to
