Hello, I am in a bit of a bind. I need to reliably parse mediawiki markup to html, and the only parser that I can find (mediacloth) has a lot to be desired, so I would like to extend something that works and parse mediawiki markup. My question to this list is should I start working on RedCloth or SuperRedCloth or is there a difference as far as extending them? Also does anyone know of a write up

Good news! SuperRedCloth is down to just five failing tests! I was down to 10 or so in mid-February but then I added test cases from "The official reference manual for Textile 2", which added 97 new tests, many of them failing. I keep an old Windows machine around for making sure that RedCloth Win32 binary gems install. When I try gem update RedCloth, it just installs 4.1.9. Did I do something wrong in the gemspec? Would someone else with a windows machine try it and let me know how it goes? Jason
