[PATCH] http_response: don't "rescue nil" for body.close
This can hide bugs in Rack applications/middleware. Most other
Rack handlers/servers seem to follow this route as well, so
this helps ensure broken things will break loudly and more
consistently across all Rack-enabled servers :)

Submission: Patch to libshout/sock.c for MacOSX
Hi,
re libshout:
MacOSX doesn't have poll(), which prevents sock.c from
compiling. I've patched sock.c to use select(), which is
supported on MacOSX, and should be elsewhere too.
I've marked my changes with "SKoT" comments in the file below.
Main changes are in sock_write_bytes().

About Unicorn Rack handler
Hi,
A couple days ago, I was trying to run Unicorn for Ramaze,
and found that `Unicorn.run'' didn''t share the same interface
with other Rack handlers, i.e. `options[:Host]'' and `options[:Port]''
Because of this, I can''t just use:
Rack::Handler.register(''unicorn'', ''Unicorn'')

Purpose of "Status" header in HTTP responses?
Hi folks
On line #63 of unicorn/http_response.rb a "Status" header is written to the
socket. A comment in the code explains that some broken clients require this
header and unicorn generously accommodates them.
We?re having the opposite problem. One of our clients using Microsoft Windows
and ASP haven?t been able to connect to our HTTP API since we moved it to
unicorn from passenger.

Webgeb 0.5.x possible in Windows XP?
Hi Colin,
I think fcgi is only required for testing. I do without it and
directly open the output files in my browser. Maybe try saying no to
ramaze or whatever depends on fcgi?

I am wondering if there are any apps affected by this bug (and
perhaps keeping people from switching Unicorn).
It''s a fairly esoteric case, so I probably won''t make another release
until tomorrow (sleepy now, will probably screw something else up

Mongrel stops to loading the page in browser

I have a problem with mongrel-1.1.2 running with Apache Apache/2.0.61
and MySQL 5.0.45 on FreeBSD 6.1.
I''m developing my application with InstantRails that uses Mongrel and
everything is working great. I have about 30 shops in a table. I also

With streaming on, closed client connections cause Fatal Broken Pipe errors
Once we turned streaming on on www.songkick.com, we started getting these
errors on production quite a bit. (See below)
It appears that if the client closes the connection during the rendering of
the template, the next attempt to write a portion of the page to the
connection will fail with a Broken Pipe error, understandably. Rails
catches this and turns it into a ActionView::Template::Error.

Libguestfs (1.22.6) driver/changes for mingw/win32
Hi,
I attached the changes I made to a vanilla libguestfs-1.22.6 in order to
make it work in mingw/win32.
Added is also the patch required to make QEMU compatible (add a command to
QMP that lists the supported devices (the regilat way you do it print it to
stderr, which is difficult to redirect in win32)).

SegFault when using TunnelServer=yes
Hi all,
I have a network with about ~800. The network is a mix of tinc 1.0 and
1.1 nodes. It is gradually expanding for several years now.
The problem is that at some point it seams the daemon can not handle the
processing of the new connection and the edges.
There are 3 major nodes in the system and every other node initially
makes connection to one of them.

script/server vs mongrel_rails start issue
I am having different results between when I start mongrel with script/
server and with mongrel_rails start.
When I run script/server to boot mongrel everything runs fine, no
errors.
When I run mongrel_rails start I get the following errors - verified
