winbind winbindd remote desktop
The file sharing, remote desktop, active directory services in samba
4.1.X versions are working. The remote desktop is not working in samba
4.2rcX versions.
It is waiting at the remote desktop display. Simultaneously, if the
samba service is aborted the remote desktop user can start a session. If
the samba service is started, all other services operate without a problem.

Hi There,
I have an odd issue with my samba4 infrastructure, I have two servers

Except the following test:

Trouble with access to sysvol share using SMB2 or SMB3 protocol on client PC
Hi, guys.
I have an issue with accessing to my sysvol share with smb2 or smb3
clients. I have an issue with editing my Group Policy from Windows
7,8,8.1,10 or Windows Server 2012 clients with RSAT installed and
everything works fine when I edit group policy from Windows XP machine.
I disable SMB2 & SMB3 in my Windows server machine and it fix the problem,
but is it a correct workaround for my

Thanks for your reply I have tried that option but same issues. This is
getting worst now. Not sure what else to do, any other test/changes you
advise me to do? Right now I'm out of ideas.

Samba43 ACL's issues
Hi there,
I'm having trouble with permissions and ACL's running samba43.
I want to be able to set permissions on a folder to an specific user.
I'm having a similar issue reported here
https://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2010-July/156965.html
However my error message is slightly different:
When I set the permission on an specific user by creating a new folder

RPC Server Unavailable Message
Greetings,
We've been testing Sernet Samba AD and are running into trouble with the
RPC server unavailable message when trying to edit group policy and
manage users with Windows 8.1. Upon restarting the service, we can
connect to the RPC server, but after 24 hours or less, we can no longer
connect. I've been trying to find more information about this issue,

Problem joining an AD
Hi list!
I have a very strange problem...
I configured Samba 4.1.6 on a Ubuntu 14.04 Server to act as AD-Controller.
It works without any problem.
Then I wanted to join the AD two other Servers with Ubuntu 14.04 and Samba
4.1.6.
The first works without any problem, the second (same configuration!) not...
Here my smb.conf:

workgroup = CCH
