high cpu load with share_conflict on browsing and opening files
Hello,
I have a server running samba version 4.7.1 on centos 7.5

of searching (or browsing)/opening/modifying/closing a (each time
different) file multiple times on a samba share containing many files (more
than 11000) goes fast for a while.
2) Then the same operation (or just the searching or opening) of the same

If you have bash-completion-extras (or the equivalent for your bistro) installed, you should be able to type ?man vfs? and hit tab completion to see your list of available vfs objects.

Failed to retrieve current state of resource: No child processes
Hi,
I don''t know whether this is a ruby, puppet, or facter bug. The whole
issue is one of the "really weird" ones.
I first noticed the problem when working with puppet on a train,
without any internet connection. In such situation, two problems appear:
1) Mildly annoying, frequent 2-second pauses followed by:
Timed out seeking value for ipaddress

Is the ?important" vfs objects parameter documented in a man page anywhere? It appears in the man pages of several vfs modules, but never fully documented that I could find. Apparently it once was from a now dead link https://www.samba.org/samba/docs/old/Samba3-HOWTO/smb.conf.5.html#VFSOBJECTS <https://www.samba.org/samba/docs/old/Samba3-HOWTO/smb.conf.5.html#VFSOBJECTS> .

ntlm_auth seems ok, initial auth failure with dovecot2 (and winbind 4.1.13)
Hello,
I've read quite often that there are problems with ntlm_auth helper
(last one here http://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2014-June/096561.html).
But haven't found any confirmation, neither it's working for anybody
else nor that it's known taht this issue needs debuging.
Like for ohers, my authentication tests from the commandline with
ntlm_auth exactly give expected results.
