How to disable kvm_steal_time feature
Hi. I would like to workaround a bug, when after live-migration of KVM guest, there is a 100% steal time shown in guest. I've read, that disabling 'kvm_steal_time' feature should workarund this bug, but i can't find a way to disable it in libvirt's domain xml file. Tried in <cpu> section: <feature policy='disable' name='kvm_steal_time'/> but

Ok libvirt can't get this value, but does it possible if i know cpu stats of domain and host info (i don't know which =)) determine for specific domain does it possible have steal time or not? -- Vasiliy Tolstov,

libgfapi disk locking in virtlockd not working
Hello. I'm playing with libgfapi network disks, over IB and all is working fine, but not disk locking (and true rdma transport). I use virtlockd, and with fuse mount, locking works as expected. But when i converted disk definitions to libgfapi, locks are not created (but qemu starts and works fine). I used direct and indirect locking - same result : qemu working fine, no locks. my

Packet integrity error. (29)
I'm using SecureCRT (http://www.vandyke.com/) to connect to OpenSSH (1.2pre14 built from source RPMs) running on RedHat Linux 6.1. When I forward a local port using SecureCRT to a port on the server and try to connect, I get the error message "Packet integrity error. (29)" on the server and the session is disconnected. This forwarding setup works with the not-so-free sshd just

Samba 4 GSS server Update(krb5)(1) Update failed: Miscellaneous failure (see text): Decrypt integrity check failed
Hi everyone I'm using nslcd to connect to Samba 4 LDAP. If I specify the binddn and bindpw in /etc/nslcd.conf no problem getent passwd works and everything is mapped just fine. But when I try try to do a kerberized bind to Samba 4 LDAP, I get this: ldb_wrap open of secrets.ldb Kerberos: TGS-REQ host-account at HH3.SITE from ipv4:192.168.1.3:33002 for ldap/hh3.site at HH3.SITE

File integrity monitoring and expected Puppet changes
Hi all, How can I retrieve a file''s most recent checksum as reported by puppet? I''m running Puppet 3.1, PuppetDB 1.4, and Foreman 1.2, and have looked through the various APIs as well as /var/lib/puppet/ on each node, but can''t find a specific field for the checksum. I think it used to be in /var/lib/puppet/state/state.yaml, but was removed in recent puppet

Installing IMA (Integrity Measurement Architecture) on CentOS 5.5
I'm trying to install IMA (http://linux-ima.sourceforge.net/) on CentOS 5.5, but the shipped kernel does not support it. One solution is to install a 2.6.30 kernel, but I don't really like this idea. Does anybody has tried to install it? Regards, Andreas

ADS share browsing error - Decrypt integrity check failed
Hello everyone, There is a FreeBSD box, which is a member of ADS domain. The domain has both W2000 and W2003 domain controllers. After upgrading to samba-3.0.23a I discovered that it is not possible to browse a share on a FreeBSD computer, but pam_winbind seems to work. Connecting from a WindowsXP box to the FreeBSD causes WinXP to ask for a password a number of times, and eventually say

R for HP Integrity Superdome...
Hi, We just installed a HP Integrity Superdome (an Itanium-based SMP machine with 64 cores + 128 GB memory, running Red Hat AS 4 update 6) at our National Center for High Performance Computing. I would like to run R on it and use the hardware optimally. What is the best way? Is there a parallel (openMP ?) version of R. Or can one 'make it' using (if available) optimized parallel
