freeradius + NTLM + samba AD 4.5.x
Hi,
we have updated our samba AD domain from 4.4.x to 4.5.x.
The release notes for 4.5.0 included "NTLMv1 authentication disabled by
default".
So we had to enable it to get our radius (freeradius) server working
(for 802.1x).
What would be the best way to change the freeradius configuration in
such a way,
that we can disable NTLMv1 again.
The radius server is used for WLAN

freeradius + NTLM + samba AD 4.5.x
It is an issue that I myself would also like to solve.
I found multiple threads in samba and freeradius mailing lists. It seems
that every couple of months there is question like this either here on
FR mailing list and all point down to the same issue, that is:
freeradius uses ntlm_auth (even when using winbind with newer freeradius
versions, it also in the end uses ntlm_auth). And since

how to use ntlm_auth
Hi,
I want to know how to use ntlm_auth with ntlm-server-1 and freeradius,
with the users login and password information in ldap.
I have read documentation of ntlm_auth (only found the man page), docs
and howtos about pptp and squid, i don't found about freeradius, and i'm
experimenting with the options of ntlm_auth.
I have configured freeradius+ldap+802.1X for a wireless lan, but i

Phone Rings, Immediate Hangup and then Rings Again.
I am having a problem with an Asterisk server, in that when it is
receiving a call from another Asterisk server using an IAX2 trunk the
phone rings for 10 ms and then there is a hungup from asterisk and then
the phone rings again before another hangup.
The funny thing is that after I really hang up on the calling phone it
repeats this as if I am still trying to call.
Any Ideas?

optimizing and scaling ntlm_auth
Hello,
I am using ntlm_auth called from FreeRADIUS to authenticate users on a network with their Active Directory credentials.
The problem I seem to be having is that ntlm_auth is taking longer than it should and I can't seem to get it to go faster reliably.
Some background information:
Users are connecting to a wireless network using 802.1x.
That network sends requests to FreeRADIUS which

RADIUS
Hi,
I?m trying to figure out how to practically use RADIUS to authenticate
users.
So far, I have only found documentation explaining that the idea is that
users somehow magically need to authenticate against a RADIUS server via
a device like a switch or a wireless access point before they are given or
being denied access to a network. I understand that I have to refer to
the documentation of

Using ntlm_auth to authneticate to an NTLMv2 AD
Chaps,
I'm trying to get a radius server to authenticate to AD via the samba
ntlm_auth program.
I've just built samba vsn 3.0.21c with the following config parameters
./configure --with-pam --enable-socket-wrapper --with-ldapsam
--with-syslog --with-ldap --with-winbind
My smb.conf has

samba AD trusted certificate for RADIUS server (MS PKI, for example AD CS)
Hi,
We are running a 3 DC samba AD domain, and use 802.1x authentication for
the win10 workstations to access the wired network.
We are facing the issue where, following windows updates, our windows
clients keep changing back the 802.1x settings to the windows default,
namely: to verify the server identity and do computer authentication only.
The latter is no problem, but the first one

Deb-4.0 Etch and sources.list for R
Hi Folks,
I'm running Debian-4.0 Etch, installed last September
from a DVD, and regularly updated as things arise.
I have R version 2.4.0 Patched (2006-11-25 r39997)
installed (initially at the time of first installation
of Debian, as provided by Debian), along with a variety
of packages.
I'd like to be able to connect to the CRAN repositories
for Debian R, for updates etc.

[LLVMdev] Updating PHI for Instruction Domination?
So I have a loop with two blocks, a header (which points to return and
latch) and a latch (which points to return and header). I have inserted a
few new blocks, called H and F.
Header now points to H and latch. Latch now points to F. H points to F. F
points to Header and return.
The PHI Nodes have been updated in Header accordingly, now coming from the
preheader and F (instead of latch).

Authenticating PPTP users against Samba/LDAP
Hi,
I have a few remote user who use a PPTP based VPN. The server is running
PoPToP (http://www.poptop.org/), and a pppd patched to support MPPE/MPPC
for (some) added security. Currently, users authentication information
is stored in plaintext in /etc/ppp/chap-secrets. I'd like to be able to
put users into LDAP, and have ppp authenticate either directly against
LDAP, or against Samba (with an

[LLVMdev] Fwd: Updating PHI for Instruction Domination?
So essentially I'm adding a path inside of the loop. Is there a way to have
llvm automatically create new IR and update the PHIs simply by adding a
block like this and changing the DomTree?

Segmentation fault in methodhelper.rb
Hi chaps,
Since overnight, my puppetmaster has been crashing every now and then
(it has crashed about 5 times this morning). We upgraded to puppet 3.2.2
about a week ago but the problems only started this morning. There was
nothing in the logs so I ran it in debug mode and captured this:
/usr/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/puppet/util/methodhelper.rb:14: [BUG]

[LLVMdev] The problem of densemap and loop
Hello, everyone,
I created a dense map like this: DenseMap<Loop *, int> ls;
And I have a module which contains 3 functions:
function F and it has a loop which is " Loop at depth 1 containing: %1<header><exiting>,%3,%5<latch> "
function G and it has two loops which are "
Loop at depth 1 containing: %8<header><exiting>,%10,%14<latch>

Nowaday Scalar Evolution's Problem.
The Problem?
Nowaday, SCEV called "Scalar Evolution" does only evolate instructions that
has predictable operand,
Constant-Based operand. such as that can evolute as a constant.
otherwise we couldn't evolate it as SCEV node, evolated as SCEVUnknown.
important thing that we remember is, we do not use SCEV only for Loop
Deletion,
which that doesn't really needed on nature loops
