kernel BUG at /usr/src/ocfs2-1.2.1/fs/ocfs2/file.c:494!
Hi,
First of all, I'm new to ocfs2 and drbd.
I set up two identical servers (Athlon64, 1GB RAM, GB-Ethernet) with Debian Etch, compiled my own kernel (2.6.16.20),
then compiled the drbd-modules and ocfs (modules and tools) from source.
The process of getting everything up and running was very easy.
I have one big 140GB partition that is synced with drbd (in c-mode) and has an ocfs2

Dom0 OOM, page allocation failure
Hello,
I''m running into some trouble with what appear on the surface to be OOM
issues in Dom0, but I''m not seeing any other evidence. This typically
happens during periods of high I/O, and has occurred during RAID initial
sync, and mkfs.ext4ing (as a test, no intention to keep ext4 on this
array). I''ve found some older posts citing very similar circumstances,

oom situation
I have continous oom&panic situation unresolved. I am not sure system
fills up all the ram (36GB). Why this system triggered this oom
situation? Is it about some other memory? highmem? lowmem? stack size?
Best Regards,

Page allocation failure
Dear list,
I am seeing an error across multiple machines during heavy I/O, either
disk or network. The VMs are on different Intel CPUs (Core 2 Quad, Core
i5, Xeon) with varying boards (Abit, Asus, Supermicro).
Machines that get this error are running either BackupPC, Zabbix (MySQL)
or SABNZBd. I can also reproduce the error on the Supermicros with a
looped wget of an ubuntu ISO as they are

hi
xen 4.0.1 w/2.6.32.41
Last week dom0 experienced an hard crash and box need to be restarted
manually (despite kernel.panic=20).
Serial console was not setup, only netconsole. No relevant entries through
netconsole, but analyzing logs I see some crashes twenty minutes before
fatal hang.

Hi Wei,
I ran into the following problem when trying to boot another guest after less than a day of uptime.
(the system started 15 guests at boot already which went fine). dom0 is allocated a fixed 1536M.
Both host as pv guests run the same kernel, some hvm''s run a slightly older kernel (3.9 f.e.)
The are quite some granttable messages in xl dmesg, i also included these and a

Hi Konrad,
In one of my domU''s to which I pci passthrough USB cards with a videograbber connected to it, the videocapture bails out after running for quite some time with the stacktrace below.
I guess i''m interpreting the mem-info below wrong, but i fail to see why it can''t allocate those 185088 bytes.
Could you shed some light ? it''s probably the coherent

Xen Remus DRBD dual primary frozen
Dear all,
I have sent this problem earlier but maybe its not detail, here I try to
write more detail. I hope anybody can help me to point out the problem.
First of all I used Ubuntu 12.04 x64 both for domain0 and domainU with
modification to run under xen hypervisor and work with remus.
I follow and configured the remus with this notes

DRBD + Remus High IO load frozen
Dear all,
I have installed DRBD 8.3.11 compiled from sources. However the backend
block will freeze if there is high IO load. I use Remus to support high
availability and checkpointing is controlled by remus for each 400ms.
If I check the Iostat I got the idle CPU will decreasing extremely each
checkpointing and when its reach 0% of idle cpu the local backing device
will freeze and damage the

Bug#721946: xen-hypervisor-4.1-amd64: dom0_mem cannot exceed some value
Package: xen-hypervisor-4.1-amd64
Version: 4.1.4-3+deb7u1
Severity: normal
I tried GRUB_CMDLINE_XEN="dom0_mem=8192M": that delivers 6964868K total, then
crashes when used=2837436K free=4127432K.
By crash I mean the gnome screen was blown away, replaced by a black screen
with white log lines. That seems to happen every time dom0 uses a large amount
of memory.

centos drbd - mounts/ replication
Hi,
I would normally post this to the drbd list but it so low traffic/low
volume (plus Austria might be asleep right now) I figured i'd ask
someone here in case they have gotten drbd working on centos. Right now
my system says i'm only the 971st person to even install it... It's
been out for years, so likely this just means version 8. But you'll
only see a couple of posts

On my HP Compaq dc5800 with Ubuntu 13.04 and their 3.8.0-19-lowlatency

Remus DRBD frozen
Hi all,
I don''t know if my question doesn''t related to xen at all, how ever I am
trying to use DRBD as my disk replication when I ran Remus. However when I
run remus sometimes my Dom-U will be freezing. I see the log file and it
seem caused by drbd frozen :
