Compiling with --disable-iconv
I've been trying to compile 3.0.0pre8 under cygwin. I was getting a problem with the iconv functions which I think are related to the cygwin environment and its iconv.h.
To bypass it I wanted to compile with the --disable-iconv function. I'm still getting the following errors during compile:
/usr/src/rsync-3.0.0pre8/rsync.c:85: undefined reference to `_iconv_open'rsync.o: In

Is there a simple method of changing text into 'Proper Ca se'
Yes and no. Given your response it appears that "Proper Case" is not a term
that everyone uses. In Excel there is a function "Proper" which in essence
changes "this line into something like this" into "This Line Into Something
Like This."
My look at casefold seesm to be that is is a wrapper of two functions to
change text into either Lower or Upper case.So

Bridge Calls with G()
Hi Guys,
This article was posted few days back. I thought i can get more info here.
I am trying to bridge two outbound calls together. (have a program start a
context, dial one party and then bridge another party)
I thought that the G() flag in the dial application would work.
I tried the the following test (continue down a dial plan). One station
calls into a context ... in this case, dials

Toggle cASE
Hello R-help list,
I am looking for way to toggle the case of the characters like a flip-flop; that is from ''Hello'' to "hELLO" or vice versa.
I know that there are a number of functions like casefold, tolower, toupper, etc. but these functions change the case in an uniform way.
Thanks in advance,

[lldb-dev] Trying out lld to link windows binaries (using msvc as a compiler)
I'm now thinking that there's a bug in either obj2yaml or yaml2obj, because
if I run just those two tools on my codebase it generates yaml files that
can't be decoded, will try now to not add any section to the obj file in
llvm-objcopy to see if I can link with obj files that I rewrite (but
without adding symbols or sections).
One of the bugs that do annoy me is that the timedatestamp

[lldb-dev] Trying out lld to link windows binaries (using msvc as a compiler)
Interesting. If it is generating yaml files that can't be decoded, then
definitely sounds like a bug. If you can provide a reduced test case we
can try to fix it, but admittedly it can often take some effort to generate
a reduced test case. The best way is to use creduce. Use cl or clang-cl
and write the pre-processed output to a file, then run creduce on that file
with a test that

Complex Surveys...Specifying Design
I need some guidance from someone who is familiar/has some experience with
the survey package.
The data that I am using is from the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey
(www.meps.ahrq.gov <http://www.meps.ahrq.gov/> ). The STRATA and PSU
variables are varstr01 and varpsu01 respectively. When I try to specify
them with the svydesign function I get an error message. An excerpt of my

[lldb-dev] Trying out lld to link windows binaries (using msvc as a compiler)
dumpbin has some clues. I ran dumpbin /all on both object files and diffed
the results.
In the good object file, Section #2 (.data) has File Pointer to Raw Data =
208, but in the bad file Section #2 (.data) has File Pointer to Raw Data =
0.
Also, Section #3 (.bss) in the good file has Size of Raw Data = 4, but in
the bad file Section #3 (.bss) has Size of Raw Data = 0.

get_ea_dos_attribute: Cannot get attribute from EA on file .: Error = No data available
Samba 4.12.1, single server with AD+DC on Ubuntu 18.04. Filesystem:
/dev/sdb1 on /home type ext4 (rw,relatime,stripe=32750,data=ordered)
It all work as expected, but I occasionally get the error in subject which denies access to shares. Restarting Samba will restore functionality.
What can be the cause of this problem?
Thanks.

In logs i see that dovecot complains:

How to mount a resource with non ascii chars??
Hi Samba Users,
After searching through recent archives, I'd like to pose this question:
How does one smbmount a Windows a share with non-ascii letters in the
share name?
Let's say the target is Windows 2000 Pro Deutsch (German).
It has two shares: /data and /d?ta [d,umlaut-a,t,a]
From Redhat linux 2.7.4 and 2.4.18 I try to mount these directories.
mount -t smbfs -o
