Is it possible that "virsh destroy" does not stop a domain ?
Hi, Is it possible that "virsh destroy" does not stop a domain ? I'm asking because i have some domains running in a two-node HA-Cluster (pacemaker). And sometimes one node get fenced (killed) because it couldn't stop a domain. That's very ugly. This is also the reason why i asked before what "virsh destroy" really does ? IIRC a kill -9 can't terminate a

Re: Is it possible that "virsh destroy" does not stop a domain ?
Bernd, another option would be a mismatch between the message that "virsh destroy" issues and the message that force_stop() in the pacemaker agent expects to receive. Pacemaker is trying to determine the success or failure of the destroy based on the concatenation of the text of the exit code and the text output by virsh; if either of those have changed between virsh versions, and

LMTP : Can't handle mixed proxy/non-proxy destinations
Hello, In my current setup, I uses two mailservers to handle the users connections, and my emails are stored on a distant server using NFS (maildir architecture) Dovecot is both my IMAP server and the delivery agent (LMTP via postfix) To avoid indexing issues related to NFS, proxying is enabled both on IMAP and LMTP. But when a mail is sent to users that are shared between the servers, I got the

Dovecot 1.2.9. next_uid was lowered
Hi There A while ago I posted here about a crash of dovecot, that had to do with nfs and was quite certainly due to bad luck. But still one problem persists: We have a Mailbox, that is accessed from multiple users using IMAP. Occasionally all the Emails in the mailbox seem to be missing, when accessing the Mailbox through IMAP, although they're still there on the server. This seems to

Advanced dovecot tricks - spam review/release

I have a spam filtering company that does front end spam filtering. (Junk Email Filter) I want to add a system where I store a copy of spam on a server and make it available to the customer to review and maybe resent on false positives. I know I

sshd problems
Hello, For some reason ssh has stopped working. Its been a good while since I tried to login remotely so I figure an upgrade is probably to blame as it was working some time ago. This is the only error I see when sshd is started: Oct 28 21:55:52 sshd[7137]: Server listening on :: port 22. Oct 28 21:55:52 sshd[7137]: error: Bind to port 22 on 0.0.0.0 failed: Address already in use. What does
