Forcing NOSELECT for a Maildir folder?
Hello,
is it at all possible, possibly without modifying the source code of
Dovecot, to enforce that a mailbox gets the NOSELECT attribute?
I have a namespace set up like this:
namespace private {
separator = /
prefix = Local Folders/
location = maildir:/xyz/core/store/maildir/%u/
inbox = yes
hidden = no
list = yes
subscriptions = yes
}
And the folder

dsyncing lazy_expunge namespace
Hello,
I'm in the process of migrating mailbox from one dovecot server running
dovecot 2.1.9 with mailboxes stored in maildir format to a newer one
running 2.1.16 with mailboxes stored in mdbox format.
To migrate mailboxes I'm using dsync as explained at
http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Tools/Dsync. The command I'm running in the
newer server is:
sudo dsync -o mailbox_list_index=no

Shared folder prefix listed multiple times with dovecot 2.1.1
Hi,
after upgrading from 2.0.18 to 2.1.1 I noticed that I could not use
shared folders with mutt anymore. 2.1 lists the shared namespace prefix
once per user sharing an folder in LIST "" "%".
I also noticed, that with 2.1 the user folder (Shared/<username>) is no
longer tagged as \NoSelect.
Is this the intended behaviour and mutt simply cannot cope with it or

Can't get shared public folders working

Now I get this folder structure:

This happens if a first email arrives or the user logs in the first time.

Thunderbird subscription bug ?
Hello Timo,
I'm having a hard time trying to understand why Thunderbird 3.0.3 doesn't allow
me to subscribe to a shared mailbox which I can subscribe to via Kmail for
instance.
I'm running dovecot-1.2.11/Maildir. The user 'doveimap' shares his mailbox
folder/subfolder to the 'dovepop' user which should see it in the '#shared'
shared namespace at the following

LSUB and subscribed folders
I have a strange behavior on a customer's server and I don't understand
that:
User "bar" has some folders and one shared folder from "foo" if I use the

A previously unreported lsub/list discrepancy in 1.1rc5 and earlier
Not sure about 1.0, I don't run it anymore :) But a few users discovered
for a small issue that only affects a very small portion of my userbase
where instructional correction will suffice. I guess I am reporting it
in the interest of getting it out there, and I can live with it if not
fixed but it might be an issue for some people. I'm running through my
list of issues. Basically,

Problem with ACL and rename folder
Hi,
I'm using RoundCube and I asked RC team to add ACL support, but there is
a problem with renaming ACL protected folders. Users don't have
permissions to deleting/renaming some folders. It works well, but every
imap talk when renaming folders ends with:
OK Rename completed.
but the name of folder isn't changed.
Here is a log from RC when I tried to rename ACL

lazy expunge folder delete bug
There's a bug in "folder delete" for lazy expunge, type "1 namespace", as descibed on https://wiki2.dovecot.org/Plugins/Lazyexpunge
When trying to delete a mailbox that still has messages in it, but that has no EXPUNGED/<name> counterpart, the process hangs after the imap "DELETE" command, and the following appears in the log file after a 60s timeout:
