Slow connects due to out-of-context DNS lookup
Ok, so my situation : Connecting to internal machines via a bastion server in AWS. Because I'm raising and tearing down the infrastructure a lot at this stage with Terraform, the IP addresses change. For the management subnet, I have a private DNS zone defined, and a public zone with a record for the bastion server. What I wanted ; to just be able to define a config entry thus : ---

issues with movnti emulation
We''ve got reports of that change causing HVM data corruption issues. While I can''t see what''s wrong with the patch, I''d suggest at least reverting it from the 3.3 tree (which is what our code is based upon) for the time being. Error from R CMD check
Dear all, I'm puzzled by the error I get from R CMD check one of my packages. I'm running R CMD check with the --as-cran flag and it get the error both from running it from the command line as from within Rstudio. On the same machine R CMD check on my GRTS package (https://r-forge.r-project.org/R/?group_id=1027) works fine. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I can send the source code

Flash keeping forever when using ActiveRecordStore
Hello, I''m hosting the app on Dreamhost and when I set the session store to ActiveRecordStore (after creating sessions table), Flash is suddenly keeping forever - it is not being cleared out automatically. On Webrick with default session store everything works fine. Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks! -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

ef2sck loops forever with re-allocation
I hope someone is able to tell me wheter it is possible to rescue any data from my lvm disk. After adding a second disk, resizing, etc I made the super block sparse. Then problems surfaced. I tried both ef2sck v1.34 and v1.35 but they have the same result: Group descriptors look bad... trying backup blocks... Inode table for group 1519 is not in group. net ads join hangs forever
Hi Aaron, we've just identified this problem and thought you may be interested if you haven't resolved this already. The bind is failing because the admin account being used to join the domain is a member of too many groups (waiting to hear from M$ what constitutes too many) and as a result the Kerberos TGT is too large and the kpasswd service on the M$ DC just ignores the change

TrackMania Nations Forever certain tracks unplayable
Hello I'm using wine 1.1.37 and TM Forever 2.11.21 en on Kubuntu Karmic. Most track play fine (with compositing turned off), but on some tracks the framerate is so low (1-2 fps) they are unplayable. These tracks include: A01, D08, E01, and a couple more. I tried lowering resolution, using windowed mode, unticking effects ckeckboxes in advanced configuration and it didn't help even a bit.
