Thank you Kevin!!! If I use fptrunc and bitcast realise NEON vcvtt ( I can sure, "fptrunc double %tmp to float" is right, but "fptrunc float %tmp to half" is wrong). My target platform is MIPS. The command as following:
NEON: vcvtt.f16.f32 s2, s0
llvm Code:
%Vt_2 = load float* %VFP_s0, align 4
%Vt3_1 = fptrunc float %Vt_2 to half
%Vt4_1 = bitcast half

Hi Daniel, Thank you your replying. Yes, the problem is about MIPS backend. You give me this message "There is limited support for the <8 x f16> type when MSA (MIPS SIMD Architecture) is enabled but even then scalar half-precision is not currently supported." Could you give me some official link or some evidence? Thank you very much.

password expire warning for dovecot users in IMAP/POP login
Dear list,
Is it possible to give a notification about password exprire warning to
users authenticated by OpenLDAP when the users login via dovecot using
IMAP or POP? For example, when you ssh to a server and/or run
ldapsearch, you can be warned with password expire warning like below:
# ssh testuser at localhost
testuser at localhost's password:
Your password will expire in 31 minute(s).

Samba 4.1.6 huge security flaw
Hi all,
I've been running Samba 4.1.6 in production for 2 weeks now and it's been
great. However I noticed a huge security flaw today that I hit only once. I
access Samba4 shares over the VPN that is irrelevant since the security
access is user-based, not IP based. What happens right after the connection,
Windows tries to read the shares and some are empty, but they are not
supposed to

PJSIP configuration question
I am trying to configure a connection to BluIP. I am able to make incoming calls work. However outgoing calls are not working.
For the Outbound Registration, I noticed the contact field is always the internal IP address of my pc instead of mycompany dot com
I can Originate (using AMI) to my Vitelity trunk (IP based authentication).
However, when I Originate to my BluIP, it is being rejected.

new SEEKTABLE block
I've checked in code that supports a new metadata block called
SEEKTABLE. Basically, it is an optional, arbitrarily-long list
of seek points, by sample number and stream offset. I also added
command-line options to flac so you can specify seek points by
specific sample number and/or a specific number of evenly-spaced
seek points. The table cost about 18 bytes per seek point.
This seems to

[ANNOUNCE] xf86-input-evdev 2.1.99.1
First snapshot for evdev 2.2.
Lots of cleanup, and - most notably - general axis/button support.
For those running an X server from master, evdev will label axes and buttons
for you.
shortlog is a bit longer than it actually is, it includes a number of patches
that were cherry-picked onto 2.1 and have since been released.
Cheers,
Peter

[LLVMdev] code coverage instrumentation
Hi
Not sure if this is a clang or llvm related question so I'm sending to both mailing lists.
Anyways, I have few questions regarding size and execution time of instrumented code:
We are trying to run code coverage on memory limited hardware and investigating both (generating gcov output using -coverage and the llvm's own way using -fprofile-instr-generate -fcoverage-mapping clang flags)

verbose_proctitle doesn't work?
How is verbose_proctitle supposed to work? I set it in the
config but I don't see anything particularly verbose while
the mailbox is connected. This is while the connection is
open, immediately after deleting a message, before closing
the connection. Same for IMAP and POP tests.

[LLVMdev] memory hog llvm-ld
I want to share a little LLVM experiment.
I tried LLVM on one of my bigger Qt 3.x based projects. I used
llvm from SVN trunk (r39999) and SVN llvm-gcc-4.01 (r370) and
did compile every file with
/usr/src/llvm/dist/bin/g++ -c -pipe -g \
-Wall -Wextra -Wno-sign-compare \
... lots of -Dxxxx ... \
--emit-llvm -I/usr/share/qt3/mkspecs/default \
-I. -I.. -I../../../include/qt3 -I.obj/ \
