Nah, RHEL 5.1+ supports 32-bit domU (PAE and non PAE) on 64-bit dom0. Actually RHEL Xen is 3.1 with the brain damaged 3.0 userland utilities. -Ross ----- Original Message ----- From: centos-bounces at centos.org <centos-bounces at centos.org> To: CentOS mailing list <centos at centos.org> Sent: Fri Feb 29 04:46:42 2008 Subject: Re: [CentOS] error creating Centos 5.1 x32 dum_U

error creating Centos 5.1 x32 dum_U instance on CentOS 5.1 x64
Hi all This is the first time I try and get Xen working, and want to install a few CentOS 5.1 32bit and FreeBSD 6.1 VM's on my CentOS 5.1 x64 server. Trying to get the first one to install is rather trivial, and I keep on running into errors. At fist I wanted to install it fro the cdrom, so I used "virt-install --cdrom=/dev/hdc" It booted up, and I could choose my language, but

Wiki state
Hello, I would like to understand how come the wiki seems to so deprived of attention. I am trying to research XCP for example and a lot of the links point to pages that don''t exist etc. Is the documentation team under-staffed? Is there some other resource that has become the de-facto place to go when wanting documentation? Thank you for your time, Remember -- I am only trying to

Automating the preparation of kernel sources
I have a driver that requires installing the kernel sources (into my own rpmbuild tree, not the system) prior to compiling. I followed the info for centos6 here: http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/I_need_the_Kernel_Source#head-a8dae925eec15786df9f6f8c918eff16bf67be0d I can successfully compile and install the module from tarball after manually prepping the kernel sources, but I need to turn this into

Need amendment - I_need_the_Kernel_Source
The I_need_the_Kernel_Source wiki article should have instructions to do the procedure as non-root. Installing the source as root may not be as dangerous as compiling something, but nevertheless it is not recommended and is not consistent with the contents of other related articles. Akemi

And I can't find the actual kernel source
