need help on forest plot with ggplot
Dear R users,
I am trying to do the forest plot follow the function given on web. However,
the order of the tests has been sorted alphabetically. I would prefer
keeping the order as data frame input so that I can group and compare (from
the graph) the target immune NS1, IgG and IgM (where SD, BioRad, Pb etc are
the brand names)

Update 4.10.2 to 4.10.4: Cant create files in subdirectorie anymore
Hi everyone,
since i upgraded from 4.10.2 to 4.10.4 i can't write into subdirectories
of a share anymore.
This worked perfectly fine before i upgraded and also works again if i
downgrade.?
I think either something is fishy with the 'filename_convert_internal'
function of ".../source3/smbd/filename.c"
or my configuration needs to be adjusted for 4.10.4. I tried several

interpreting coxph results
I am having trouble understanding results I'm getting back from coxph
doing a recurrent event analysis. I've included the model below and
the summary. In some cases, with minor variations, the Robust
variance and Wald tests are significant, but the individual
covariates may or may not be significant. My main question is: If
Wald and robust tests both take into account the

Sid Meier's Pirates! crashes consistently
I'm running Wine v.1.1.26 on Xubuntu 9.04 on a brand-new machine from IbexPC. I installed Pirates, installed the 1.02 patch, and overwrote the executable with the No-CD exe. I can get the game to open and run, and with the right settings, it runs really well--but only for a minute or two. Then the game crashes with the following error:
The program Pirates!.exe has encountered a serious

Likely regression for Pirates of the Caribbean
I tried to install the game with the latest 1.1.16. However it quickly dies at install time with
err:msi:ITERATE_Actions Execution halted, action L"DX9_Launcher.A545835B_7768_4D96_A5BC_930949616C2D" returned 1603
The game is rated Platinum for 1.1.2 and Gold for 1.1.3, none of which mentioned install problems, so I guess it is a regression. I wanted to try with these older versions but

Sid Meier's Pirates! crashes consistently - Part II
I'm running the latest version of Wine (currently 1.1.28 ) on Xubuntu 9.04 and I kept getting the error "The program Pirates!.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." It was occurring regularly a short time after I started playing. Some helpful folks posted suggestions to help get it working reliably, but nothing made a

complex plots using layout()
Dear r-help,
I am trying to plot several scatter plots with marginal histograms on
one page. Ideally, a page is equally divided into 4 figure regions.
Within each figure region, a scatter plot with marginal histograms will
be plotted.
I followed Dr. Paul Murrell's code released online to successfully plot
the scatter plot with marginal histograms. The code applies "layout()"

Tales of Monkey Island
Hello everyone...
Although it says in the AppDB that this runs flawlessly, I haven't been able to run it...
Installation goes fine and I also add the missing DirectX dll to the system32 dir. But, after running the game there is only the white window (although I hear the sound, so I guess it's not frozen).
These messages appear in the terminal:

tales of a newb
I'm trying to uninstall WINE 0.9.30 from source on my OpenSUSE 10.2
desktop, but after I
do ./configure, make depend, make, and install,.... it doesn't install
(or at least not
completely). It doesn't show up in the YAST packages menu as being
installed, and when
I run 'wine help' in the console, it says the help install module
isn't installed. What am I
doing wrong?

My game has started freezing up when using Wine.
I downloaded Wine 1.2 a few days ago so that I could play a game called Wonderland Online. It worked fine for one day. The 2nd day my update manager asked to install updates and since installing them I can't play my game.
I run Ubuntu 10.10. As I stated I installed Wine 1.2 and it worked fine with Wonderland Online that first day. (www.wl.igg.com is the website for the game that I play. I

I'm using compiz compiled for feisty by trevino, on a mobility radeon x1600

I'm experiencing some problems with the blur: after a short time using
compiz the blur over

don't know how to debug this problem... :(
I'll be happy to give any information you'll need

Buildung Wine on OS X
Hi folks out there,
I'm new to this project but very keen on more information. The reason I want to have Wine, is because I want to get "Klingon Academy" on OS X. On every Windows Revision above Win 98 the game fails, so I thought: "Why not do it the other way around and try Wine?"
So, here I am. And after the first look into the Wiki page, I was VERY confused on how I

labels outliers in boxplot
Dear R-users,
Following is part of my data, where slide has 36
levels and block 48 levels. I have done boxplot for
each slide on the same graph. There are outliers for
each slide and I tried to use indentify functtion to
identify outliers in such a way that when I click on
an outlier or point, the points will be labelled by
either their block or ID or by both but without
success. How can I make

I'm trying to make a return to getting Everquest2
running under Wine, but I'm hampered at the moment
by the fact that it hard-locks my system when it
gets to the "Adding player to world..." stage.
A few months back it would get this far and crash
but now it absolutely locks up, mouse still moves
