[PATCH] Correct chain.c32 v. 6.04-pre1 for Reactos
Correct the "seg=" value(s) corresponding to the "reactos=" option for chain.c32. The correct segment parameter should be "seg=0x0F80", instead of the incorrect / failing ones "seg=0:0x8000:0x8100". Archive of "bad" things during rsync?
Hi, Wouldn't you know, I can't get rsync to throw an error during a copy. :) I need to put together some instructions for a guy that runs a WISP for him to look over before weekly backups are made (I'll be copying the files to /dev/null so any read errors can be caught). I can do the simple : rsync warning: some files vanished before they could be transferred (code 24) at

Why is this happening?
Today I installed the new development version of wine and tested it out with a Touhou game (Touhou 12- Seirensen). However, upon running it, everything goes black and the console appears asking me to LOG IN. I have no idea why this is happening. Would it be because of the fact that wine is currently in a development stage? Should I install the current stable version. Most importantly, does anyone

[RFC] Let's add a CONTRIBUTING.md file to llvm-project
Hi, With multiple proposals to improve the situation for newcomers in flight, let me add another brief proposal: Let’s add a CONTRIBUTING.md file to the top-level directory of llvm-project. I think this would make the information about how to contribute more visible and Github uses CONTRIBUTING.md to display ‘Contributing Guidelines’ at a few places, like when creating new issues or pull

[LLD/ELF] - Should we implement .note.gnu.property and/or Intel CET in LLD ?
Linux GABI [1] introduced new .note.gnu.property section which contains a program property note which describes special handling requirements for linker and run-time loader. LLD does not support .note.gnu.property yet. GABI specifies 2 types of entries: GNU_PROPERTY_STACK_SIZE and GNU_PROPERTY_NO_COPY_ON_PROTECTED: * GNU_PROPERTY_STACK_SIZE: Its pr_data field contains an integer in the format

Wine and Music Collector. No startup?
Hi. I'm trying to get my version of the program 'Music Collector' to start under Wine (20050524) but no luck. Website: http://www.collectorz.com/music/ (I'm trying to use current version 6.7, build 5) The program extracts and installs with no problems. It's just that when I try to run the executable, Wine seems to "go to sleep" and later on exit. I've tried

[LLD/ELF] - Should we implement .note.gnu.property and/or Intel CET in LLD ?
I think we should wait until there is someone wanting to use these features with lld. Cleaned up contributing guidelines
In an effort to streamline and consolidate how code gets submitted to puppet, we''ve updated the contributing guidelines. The changes were along three fronts: 1. Clarify what to target when submitting patches. 2. Reflect the reality that we take code submissions as github pull requests. 3. Simplify the explanation for how to get up and running as a contributor. We are also in discussions

Citing Package Contributing Authors
Greetings, I am familiar with the function cite('packageName') which provides the output generated from the DESCRIPTION file. In most cases this is sufficient but I was wondering if there are contributing authors (in addition to the primary) also listed on the CRAN page. Is there a proper way to account for them or are they generally not listed? Regards, -- Charles Determan

There are some advantages these packages can bring to CentOS users - - Access to the latest features and fixes - Reduced boot time - Smaller memory footprint Of course all the new features/fixes are

So now I am trying to follow the instructions here: http://wiki.centos.org/Contribute (Section 3) My CentOS wiki login is: BorisEpstein The subject on contributions to the Wiki - whatever I know. I have experience configuring CentOS boxes as OpenVPN, NIS, print servers, etc. You
