problem with scannedonly vfs
Hi,
I'm using Samba 4.1.6 (version included in last Ubuntu LTS version).
I've some directories in a share. One of them has an exe file. In root
of my share I've a lnk file to this exe.
So I've:
/home/share/IntegrDom/IntegrDom.exe
and
/home/share/Install_Client_Scribe.lnk (which is a link to
/home/share/IntegrDom/IntegrDom.exe).
This point is important, if I remove this lnk

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Start of SIMD Reorg
Now that Bruno is putting in some AVX stuff, it's a good motivator to
move my x86 SIMD reorg work into trunk (and got management to agree to
prioritize it - Thanks Bruno! :) ).
Attached is the first patch of many to accomplish this. The overall
goal is to have all x86 SIMD instructions share a set of common patterns
so that we can have a more maintainable machine description (e.g. SS,

Object-oriented programming (OOP)
Hello everybody, please excuse my bad English. I am Alfredo Naime and
I'm from to Venezuela.
I want to make a lib with tools for simulation (queues, inventories,
factory, etc.) using object-oriented programming (OOP).
You have any manuals on the handling of data types, classes,
inheritance, etc. in R with examples and how to make a R lib.
Thank you, very much.

Difference between samba 2.0.0beta4 and NT4.0 ?
Hi Samba-gurus,
I have a problem with samba 2.0.0beta4 on solaris 2.5.1
(samba 1.9.18p10 behaves the same) :
1. I have a ordinary text-file on a samba-share (foo.txt).
NT4.0 sees the samba-share (\\sun100\tmp) as a netdrive
with the letter K:. I've done a 'net use k: \\sun100\tmp'.
2. I can doubleclick in NT4.0-explorer on foo.txt and notepad
comes up correctly.
3. I

Scraping and saving.
Hi,
I''m working to scrape and save some ebooks. Mechanize has been
wonderful so far. The link I''m having trouble with is this one.
http://www.webscription.net/SendZip.aspx?SKU=0671578499&ProductID=379&format=H
When I click that in the browser it saves it to a file named
H_1632.zip. How do I get that name from the page. I suspect to save
this to a file I would just do

[LLVMdev] FYI: ELFObjectWriter/ELFObjectWriterImpl refactoring TBA (need for ARM/MC/ELF)
This is a heads up - if you aren't into ELF or ARM, you can stop reading :-)
I need to add ARM specific relocation support which require some
amount of reorg to the exiting ELFObjectWriter.* to remove x86 biases
(or at least move them elsewhere).
I am currently working on a set of patches, which I will send to
commits for review, hopefully in a day or three.
Thanks

join tables in R
I'd to match-merge 2 tables in such a manner that I keep all the rows in table 1, but not the rows that are in both table 1 and 2.
Thank you for your help,

R2WinBUGS under Linux/WINE fails
Hi,
I'm running wine-1.0.1, OpenBUGS 3.0.3, R 2.9.0, and R2WinBUGS on a Redhat
Enterprise Linux machine.
Following various peoples' suggestions...
This works perfectly (yay!): wine Z:/opt/OpenBUGS/winbugs.exe
Within R, however, I get this:
(setup the example from ?bugs, then....)

roaming profile not uploaded correctly when logging out for the first time
I have a strange issue with roaming profiles.
It only happens for users which has no roaming profile on a Samba server
yet.
When a user logs out for the first time, some files can't be copied from:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\SendTo\
to a profiles directory on the server.
(Files like 31/2Floppy(A).lnk, some *.tmp files etc.).
Only very rarely, a first-time logout process happens
