FYI mail problems for libvirt lists
It has come to our attention that many, possibly even all, people with non-redhat.com email addresses are unable to send mail to most libvirt mailing lists, receiving bounce messages saying the address doesn't exist eg Final-Recipient: rfc822; libvirt-users@redhat.com Action: failed Status: 5.0.0 Remote-MTA: dns; us-smtp-inbound-1.mimecast.com Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 Invalid

CentOS 7.5 Nautilus 100% reproducible crash.
Pardon me, but I forgot to add that right after this crash, htop as root shows the VBoxClient service running maxed on one core until system is rebooted. Not sure if it is CentOS bug or VirtualBox bug because this did not happen in 7.4 on same version of VirtualBox, and unfortunately I don't have access to a bare metal machine on which to install and test. -----Original Message----- From:

bad text under KDE and C7
If it is to just get better font rendering (infinality freetype rendering); have a look at this gist: https://gist.github.com/sunnz/11cd72135a0d6a3ec6b6 it requires the installation of some packages from non fedault repos such as nux-desktop and sets up a new fonts.conf file. However, once used, it is impossible to work on a RHEL 7 type system without this installed. Font rendering looks better

Digitially Signed Communications
Dear All, The below are snippets of the policies that are causing connection issues for me from Windows 7 workstations, connected to a Domain, to Samba Shares : Microsoft network client: Digitally sign communications (always) Enabled Microsoft network client: Digitally sign communications (if server agrees) Enabled Microsoft network server: Digitally sign communications (always)

bad text under KDE and C7
> > > > Kernel driver in use: i915 > > Kernel modules: i915 > The i915 driver is fairly rock solid - virtually all desktop machines these days have on-board Intel video, it's the lowest common denominator. And your chipset is not exactly cutting edge stuff. Are there any errors in the logs - either kernel logs or X logs? For some reason you say you

Good Day, I am testing, in a lab environment, samba shares with ad authentication for access. As per the subject, when trying to connect, from XP or Win 7, to the shares I

rsync 3.1.1: --ignore-missing-args / --delete-missing args problem
Dear All, We sometimes have to replicate large "live" filesystems with many ( sometimes millions, up to few hundred millions ) files on them. ( Copying actively used files is of course a bad idea, but it really helps to keep the delta small, so one final transfer can later save the day. ) The problem, as one may guess, is that some files may disappear during the process, so rsync

RFC: On removing magic numbers assuming 8-bit bytes
A. This RFC outlines a proposal regarding non-8-bit-byte support that got positive reception at a Round Table at EuroLLVM19. The general topic has been brought up several times before and one good overview can be found in a FOSDEM 2017 presentation by Jones and Cook: https://archive.fosdem.org/2017/schedule/event/llvm_16_bit/ In a nutshell, the proposal is for the llvm community
