after identify labels dissapear XP
Greetings: Using 'identify' to label points on a plot works just fine. However, when saving under 'metafile' or using the clipboard the labels dissapear. I believe it's an SDI issue. I am running last R with last Tinn-r under XP up to date. Anything I can do besides going back to MDI :-)? Thanks, Mihai Nica, ABD Jackson State University ITT Tech Instructor 170 East Griffith

Hi, first of all i'm sorry for my english. I'm triyng to migrate a Samba 3.6 domain to Samba 4 and I've a question about OU and Winbind: OU affects to something more besides GPO in AD and Winbind?. Because I've moved all users to an OU and all less one (strangely) have dissapear from "getent passwd" and the other SO tools. If i run "wbinfo -u" all users are

Xen 3.1.0 and openSuse 10.3 - xenbr0 won''t dissapear
Hello, I use xen for a few months now and I upgraded to opensuse 10.3 with xen 3.1 (64bit versions) recently. Everything works fine, but there is a problem when I change xend-config.sxp to use my own network script (it''s slightly modified version of network-virtual scripts from http://en.opensuse.org/Xen3_yet_another_Virtual_Network_Concept ) instead of default network-bridge script.

Noob question: user moved to a OU dissapear from getent, but groups don't
Thanks to both for answers. I'm using the latest version of wheezy-backports (Version 4.1.17-Debian) and in this server i don't need to map the AD users to linux tools (i'm doing tests before change anything in production servers), but i'm planing to use a File Server and a Print Server in separated machines and I need to have access to AD users. If I disable winbind entries on

Thanks for your reply. I've migrated the domain copying all files in /var/lib/samba and /etc/samba from original domain to new domain, I've edit the smb file to change the "passdb backend" line to match the old server (because original is localhost and give me an error connecting), and then I run this command: samba-tool domain classicupgrade --dbdir=/home/user/samba

Changing ownership of files on Windows (net rpc rights?)
Hello, I am unable to change ownership of Samba shares on Windows. It makes no difference if Samba is a PDC or if it is a member server in an Active Directory. I am running Samba 4.1.9 on FreeBSD 9.2 with ZFS. I can easily change ownership locally on the FreeBSD box, however, when trying to do it from Windows it errors out with access is denied. I've attempted to use net rpc rights grant

Slackware + Asterisk + asterisk-addons
Hello I am trying to get asterisk-addons installed so that I can use the mysql cdr feature. OK, I have the MySQL server (mysqld) installed, but I noticed that mysql-devel is also required. I tried to compile asterisk-addons and got a: --CUT--- res_config_mysql.c:422: error: unknown field `realtime_multi_func' specified in initializer res_config_mysql.c:422: warning: excess elements in

R-extension in unix system -- help to locate header files
Hi list, To call C, I used to use R-extension in windows but I'm moving to unix system because my PC doesn't have enough memory. My C codes requires to include the following header files: #include <stdlib.h> #include <R.h> #include <Rdefines.h> #include <Rmath.h> #include <R_ext/Applic.h> #include <R_ext/PrtUtil.h> In windows, I had no problem with it

typo in R-exts.html section 6.9
In 'Writing R Extensions' section 6.9 there is the paragraph There are interfaces (defined in header R_ext/Applic.h) for definite and for indefinite integrals. ?Indefinite? means that at least one of the integration boundaries is not finite. An indefinite integral usually means an antiderivative, not an integral over an infinite spread. Should that first sentence end with 'for

calling R's optimization routines from C
Hi, I have read R's Writing Extensions manual and am still confused about how to use some of the routines there when I call from C. Specifically, I am writing a little test function which I will optimize using the nmmin function which underlies R's optim() with Nelder-Mead. I guess I wonder what library/header files I should be using. I was using R_ext/Applic.h and linking with libR but I

Users are accessing various Microsoft Office files on the server. A month ago noticed few strange things happening with Samba4: 1. I need to delete orphaned objects
I have two samba 4.1.9 as domain controllers. I want to join two new samba servers (Current version) as DC into the domain in order to demote the old ones. When I try to join as DC the first new samba, It can't synchronize because of orphaned objects in the samba 4.1.9. So, I want to remove such orphaned objects first. I can't do that using samba-tool dbcheck --fix Which command
