Active Directory 'add machine script' parameter
Hi, I'm looking at migration from Samba3 (NT domain) to a Samba4 in 4.1.6 on ubuntu 14.04 in active directory domain controller mode. I was doing some stuff when subscribing machines to the domain through a script called by smbd, as described with 'add machine script' parameter in smb.conf. It seems that this behavior isn't supported in Active Directory mode in my version :

samba-tool crashes if include = /patch/to/%U.conf in smb.conf
Hi, Samba4 (4.1.9) on Ubuntu 12.04 here (seen same behavior on 4.1.6 on Ubuntu 14.04). I've encountered an annoying bug with samba-tool, some exceptions aren't caught causing the tool to crash if it finds something it doesn't like in the smb.conf. I have a specific line in my conf : "include = /etc/samba/%U.smb.conf ", it's useful for applying specific samba

Change hostname of the main domain controller of the Active Directory
Hi, With Samba4 and Active Directory the hostname of the server is read during provision, to set the netbios name. It's even asked to set /etc/hostname and /etc/hosts in respect with the chosen domain/realm names. I've seen that on real windows AD that it's possible to change the hostname of the domain controller with netdom command, but is there a way to do so on Samba4 ? The

Openldap samba 3.0.5 net group add does not work
When I run net add groupmap rid=512 ntgroup="Domain Admins" UNIXgroup="ntadmins" i get this error: adding entry for group Domain Admins failed! The error isn't very specific and the log doesn't show any error. I look in the log (log level -1 in slapd.conf) and I can tell it is able to search. I can post the syslog if you need it. I think their is an error in my

net rpc vampire is sucking my brain!
Trying to migrate NT4 to samba 3.0.0 or 3.0.1pre3 with an ldap backend. I add a backup server account to the domain and joined. Getting the SID and the ldap init seem to work, and I start windbind. When I run net rpc vampire all I get is a ton of "Could not create posix account info for " errors. Then ofcourse pdbedit -L returns smbldap_search_suffix: Problem during the LDAP search:

LoopStrengthReduce Code Owner: nominating Quentin
I’d like to nominate Quentin Colombet as LSR code owner. He has handled most of the reviews for me for the past couple years (thanks Quentin), and is willing to take on the responsiblity. Frankly, turning over ownership to Quentin is overdue. -Andy

[GlobalISel][AArch64] Toward flipping the switch for O0: Please give it a try!
Thanks Diana. That is indeed the assumption in the code and this is obviously wrong. Could you try the attached patch? Cool test :) It seems to work fine now, I don't see any new failures. IIUC, Kristof is also giving it another run. [LLVMdev] TableGen Register Class not matching for MI in 3.6
AddRegisterOperand calls getVR and yes, I think an IMPLICIT_DEF is being generated. Hi Quentin, I actually did a run with -mllvm -optimize-regalloc -mllvm -regalloc=greedy over the weekend and the test does pass with that. Haven't measured the compile time though. [LLVMdev] TableGen Register Class not matching for MI in 3.6
I have not tried 3.5, it's a significant amount of work to port from one version to the next though, I did not personally do the 3.4 to 3.6 porting. I agree though, it was very strange that it suddenly just changed behavior. It looks like to me that InstrEmitter.cpp:getVR is the one assigning the virtual register no? Though this code in CreateVirtualRegisters: const TargetRegisterClass *RC

Here is the instruction in question: multiclass AD<string asmstr, SDPatternOperator OpNode, RegisterClass srcAReg, RegisterClass dstReg, ValueType srcAType, ValueType dstType, Operand ImmOd, ImmLeaf imm_type> { def REG_REG : SetADInOut<asmstr, srcAReg, dstReg, [(set dstReg:$dstD, (OpNode srcAReg:$srcA))]>; def IMM_REG :

1. MOV16Copy_IMM_REG is the instruction matched, sorry. AD is the multiclass. The IMM in my case is a global. So you can see that GPRBaseRegs, GPRBaseRegs sets the registerclass for both the src and dst operands, in this case (MOV16Copy_IMM_REG) it's the dst. 2. Yes I agree, it most likely would. Honestly, this comes across like a bug, or unintended feature. It's adding an extra COPY to
