A Single Test File?
I was wondering if there is a single text file that contains all the
markup in a way that one can visually check to see if a markdown
script is succeeding. I know there's a Perl test suite, but I'm
looking for just one source file.
Thanks.

Rainbows! or unicorn?
I''m putting together a small web frontend for a client to upload files into an existing application. It''s trivial - there will never be more than a (small) handful of concurrent connections, but I need a streaming rack.input for upload progress on files up to 500MB or so. I was planning on using Rainbows! with ThreadSpawn and worker_connections=1, then noticed that unicorn is

New to Markdown, Suggestion . . .
So, this is my first post, greeting, yada, yada. By way of background,
I'm a law student/former DC IT consultant and soon-to-return to the IT
field. Don't ask me why I went to law school, I have forgotten--and I
am not certain it was a good choice.
I ran across Markdown only recently, although I have always favored
ASCII as the impervious format. I'm also polishing my Python skills,

Announcement: Markdown-0.2 for PmWiki
Announcing a new release of the PmWiki Markdown extension.[1] This
release introduces an improvement in page rendering, examples of
syntax,[2] and better support for Atx (up from none). I have also
established a page to help keep interested parties informed of
changes, to include a discussion group.[3] There are still problems
with loose lists and blockquotes, but this is a 0.2 release. The

parsing question - lists and blockquotes
I'm using the PHP port of Markdown, but I noticed the same effect on
your dingus <http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/dingus>
The problem I'm seeing is when I have an bulleted list and the last item
of the list contains a block quote. The blockquote does not terminate
correctly, and adding another blockquote after the list ends up
extending the original blockquote.

Markdown and Wikis
I would like to have a wiki that uses Markdown as the markup
language (or something very close), I've currently used PmWiki
and I really like it but there are some problems with using
Markdown so I'm interested to see if there is an alternative
that works better for me.
I've looked at wiki matrix and searched for and found the
following list

Major update of Deducer, including GSOC funded work
A new version of Deducer (0.4) has been sent to CRAN, and should be
propagating to all the mirrors in due course. Also, a new plug-in
package (DeducerExtras) has also been released to CRAN, containing
additional dialogs and functionality.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the R community for
choosing this project for a Google Summer of Code grant, and for the

Spatstat: tessellation problems.
Hello R Users,
I am trying to do a quadrat count defined by covariate properties in
spatstat. I have read my elevation raster into R (from ascii) and converted
to class "im" for use in spatstat.
Now I have point data of class "ppp" which window is the same extent as the
elevation image. I can conveniently plot the image and the points on the

No telling where he got it from. So I greatly appreciate any and all
advice.
I am writing my own howto, and I would like to think I am doing a better
job of it. I hope
